Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

I love this tour so much that it is the second time I've booked it. My husband and the other couple with us all said it was very worthwhile. Our Tour Guide was very informative both about the food and the history of the area.

Our tour guide Bob was engaging and informative , and the food was presented at a reasonable pace so you never felt hungry but always looked forward to the next bite. This particular tour would be ideal even if the weather wasn't as the first two hours are spent inside the Chelsea Market. Wish that we'd gone early to shop around as there wasn't as much time for that during the tour. Definitely worth the time and money.

Great tour combining history, sightseeing, good food and even some cooking tips. Our guide Kurt was wonderful. Will definitely consider other FoNY Tours.

I had already done the Chinatown tour with the same company and really wanted to do this one. I sent them an email and they were very accommodating (the tour showed as full on the internet): I managed to get in with the last minute booking. The food was really good, and the guide was fantastic. He is full of anecdotes and seems to know this place like the back of his hand, and always cracking jokes. I was also amazed how he knew the names of everyone (group of 16 I believe) and called us by our name all the time. It all made for a very personal tour It's the 2nd time I've done a tour with this company and they really are different. Their guides are fantastic and the food amazing. One suggestion: Please create a Harlem food tour and I'll book it next time I come to NY!

What a way for four friends to spend a Saturday in NYC!! Not only was this tour fun, educational and entertaining, it also provided us with exercise and enough food to satisfy everyone's appetite!! Our tour guide Kurt was outstanding and totally made the two men in our group forget about what a great golf day they were missing!!
