Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

Curt was phenomenal! The food was delicious! This is our third Foods of NY tour, but it won't be our last!

It was well presented by our tour guide. The shops that we visited were excellent and the tastings as well. I would be very happy to recommend this tour to anyone as one of the many places that should be seen.

Great intro to the Chelsea Markets. Fantastic tastings and info regarding the individual gourmet food producers. Really interesting to hear the history of how the market started. Would highly recommend this tour!

The tour of Chelsea Market was one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. Even the teenagers--who were skeptical about the tour before it began--had fun! Our tour guide Kurt was exceptional. His knowledge of the area was outstanding and his comedic delivery kept us laughing the whole time. The food was wonderful! Our only regret was that we were unable to delay our departure so we could explore the market on our own after the tour.

I hope you are fortunate enough to have Diana as your guide as she is excellent - fun, full of information and facts and keeps you moving and interested! You visit many vendors inside the Market and some in the neighborhood. A quick visit to Morimoto's restaurant is terrific - (be sure to check out the toilets in the ladies' restrooms!). You will have samples of various vendor's wares and you will have a sit-down "feast" at Buon Italia. You definitely receive enough food on this tour to equate to a lunch - you will not be hungry - you will just want more.... The market is full of history and artifacts. Diana is the best as a guide! We loved our guide, Curt, and had so much fun learning about the history of Chelsea and the Meat packing District!!! We are Food TV fans and love to try to eat at new places where ever we go. We thought this would be a great way to learn about the area and local food without having to roam around ourselves. We utilize Yelp! too and have found that the more stars and more reviews you have, the better you truly are!!! We will be taking a different tour every time we visit from now on!!! Great job!!!

A great value for a tour of a historic area under rejuvenation. So much information about the building, market, high line and meat packing district AND sampling of delicious foods along the way. Our guide was a character who kept us entertained from the moment we started. We will plan for another tour on our next visit. The website and instructions were very clear and helpful. We continued on to find more amazing eats thanks to our guide.

My daughters and I were in New York at Christmas time on a Girls' Weekend. A friend had recommended taking a food tour of the city and it seemed like something different to do. Taking her advice, we booked the tour with Zerve and it ended up being one of the highlights of our weekend. Our guide, Curt, was absolutely wonderful and ...... hysterical (we laughed our way through the 3 hour tour). It was obvious that he had put a lot of work and effort into providing us with an enjoyable and informative tour -- above and beyond anything I expected. The food tastings were diverse and very good. I would highly recommend taking the Chelsea/Meatpacking District 's food tour. It's a great way to experience an interesting part of New York City.
