Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

The tour was very interesting and filling, lots of food. The tour guide was exceptional. I would highly recommend.

As visitors from Australia we thoroughly enjoyed the food tour of Chelsea Market and surrounds. Kurt was a great guide who made every effort to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone in the group. We wish we had done the tour a little earlier in our stay in New York for the tips on where to eat.

The food is ample and wonderful! Our guide was so knowledgeable about food, I felt completely at ease in his care. A wonderful memory that I would repeat in a second, and intend to.

Our guide diana was unbelievably good she engaged to group from the beginning and was very enthusiatic and told us lots of interesting things about the area that we would not have gotten from any other tour

We loved getting an overview of food options and ideas of places to visit again! Kurt was a great host - entertaining and informative! The food was wonderful and it was so fun to spend the time with people from all over the world. We are already planning to the Greenwich Village tour next time we're in New York!

This was my fourth food tour. I've been on the Grenwich tour twice, and the Central Grenwich SOHO tour once. Kurt was an outstanding tour guide. His knowledge of food, and his knowledge of the area was stellar. His sense of humor was infectious as well. GREAT delivery! It was raining when we arrived, so the majority of the tour was held inside Chelsea market.....although one could definitely tour the market on their own, one would not receive the wealth of knowledge that we did! I don't know if on less rainy days if more of the neighborhood is toured as well. We did get a smattering of the neighborhood that was great as well. A wonderful time was experienced by all! Highly recommend!

Tour was informative and fun. Lots of delicious food. Got a really good feel for the area, and learned a lot about its history. Tour guide was cheery and full of character.

The food was interesting, varied and terrific. The guide and information he offered kept us involved. The variety of sights that we saw made us feel that we had a complete experience. My 88 year old mother said it was the best day she has had in a year..... and it was raining and windy that day. That says a lot!!!

We had a terrific time. Our guide was engaging, funny, and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of the area as well as its current inhabitants. Great value for the money.
