Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

I take a tour every time I go to NYC...once a month or so....with goal of getting to neighborhoods off the beaten tourist path. I enjoyed the tour leader and the Chelsea Market area, will definetely go back for to the area on my next trip to the City.

I highly recommend taking this tour to everyone. I did it on my Birthday & had a blast! Eventhough it was our tour guides first day on the job but he was very knowledgeble, pleasant & gave us a lot of history & information about the places that we visited & I really enjoyed the tour. Next time in New York , I would like to take one of the other tours that they offer. By the way our guides name was Samson & hopefuly he will still be there. Thank you again for a memorable 3 hours. A fun way to spend 3 hours in the city! The food in the specialty markets and stores was delicious and the tour of the meatpacking district very informative. Our tour giude (Samson) was on his first assignment but you would never know it! He was well prepared, professional, friendly and a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a super activity for a day in NYC. We ate to our hearts' content and learned alot about the history and development of NYC. Our group was friendly and the leader of the tour was very well-spoken and knowledgeable. It was a good mix of indoor and outdoor activities, all very interesting. What fun!

We thouroughly enjoyed the tour. Not only was the food delicious, but the background information and tour of the area provided was very interesting. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

I don't usually do tours, but decided to try this one, and really liked it. The 3 hours went by fast, it was very informative, but I ate too much.

Great fun...great food....a great time. Our guide, Darrell, was informative, funny and talented. He made the history of Chelsea Market and the Meat Packing district come alive. The food tastings were fantastic. We liked the fact that the samples were paid for - not just a promotion. We knew we were visiting the best. Too bad we couldn't see much about the Food Network (but that's not the tour's fault)..

We had a great time. You don't get to see as much of the neighborhood as the Greenwich Village tour, but it's well worth the time and money. Great tastings! We'll be going back to Chelsea Market on our next visit to the Apple.

I never dreamed that a tour would include so much fine food tasting! The food was excellent, the tour educational and the tour guide had so much information and was so entertaining I wished the tour could be longer! It was so much more than I expected!

Tour guide was top notch. He was fun, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and no short cuts and a couple of wonderful extras!
