One of our Favorite Activities on Our Sisters Trip

Great fun...great food....a great time. Our guide, Darrell, was informative, funny and talented. He made the history of Chelsea Market and the Meat Packing district come alive. The food tastings were fantastic. We liked the fact that the samples were paid for - not just a promotion. We knew we were visiting the best. Too bad we couldn't see much about the Food Network (but that's not the tour's fault)..

We had a great time. You don't get to see as much of the neighborhood as the Greenwich Village tour, but it's well worth the time and money. Great tastings! We'll be going back to Chelsea Market on our next visit to the Apple.

I never dreamed that a tour would include so much fine food tasting! The food was excellent, the tour educational and the tour guide had so much information and was so entertaining I wished the tour could be longer! It was so much more than I expected!

One of the best tours we took in New York

Our tour guide, Curt, was so enthusiastic and informative. The 3 hour walking tour went by too fast. Not only did we learn about the food of NY but also architecture, high cost of living in NY and neighborhood changes. We highly recommend this tour.

Our tour of Chelsea Market/Meatpacking district was the highlight of our trip! Curt, our gude, was very fun, and informative. The pace and group size was perfect. The details were perfectly organized. The food samples far exceeded our expectations. Everything we tried was delicious! It was such a great way to spend part of a day in NYC. We will definitely attend another tour, and would highly recommend it to anyone of any age. Thanks!!!

Best tourist event of our visit

I had done the Village tour years ago and loved that. This time we wanted to do Chelsea, and absolutely loved it as well. We came back to drink at Revel and to hang out in the area the next night just because of the tour. It was a plethora of information and amazing food. The tour guide was extremely warm and friendly, also.

Where else can you sample tasty, fresh foods, learn about New York history and get fresh air and exercise? A walking tour of Chelsea Market and the old meatpacking district of course. With our entertaining and knowledgable guide, we were off for a culinary adventure. Excellent value for both time and money. I heartily recommend this tour and will do it again when I return to New York.
