Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

Best 3 hours I have spent in NYC. Got to see and learn about a part of NYC that I would normally pass over. The tastings were interesting and deliciuos.

Our guide was very friendly and informative. It was difficult to hear him at times because of the noise in the market, but he would repeat anything we didn't hear if asked. We had wonderful lobster bisque and chocolate chip gelato and the oatmeal cookie was fantastic. Deborah Emerick

Our guide, Diana was a great source of information and the assortment of tastings was very diverse. The three of us thouroughly enjoyed our 3 hour tour.

Bob was our tour guide and he was fabulous. My 65 year-old mother enjoyed it just as much as my 16 year-old. The samples were more than adequate and Bob even noted my son's nut allergy and offerred him a cupcake instead of a cookie with nuts. Bob was extremely pleasant and knew his stuff! I also enjoyed the other people on the tour as well...all food aficionados! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to New York.

Our guide was tops, so friendly and loaded with info. We really felt like he was sharing the "inside scoop and tips" about all of the stores, restaurants and sites we visited. He opened doors we wouldn't have opened & shared knowledge about the market and area we wouldn't have learned about as mere sight-seers on our own. The meeting location was well marked and easy to locate. The tour moved along at a relaxing pace and it was easy to visit with others on the tour. Most of all, we loved eating our way through the attractive market. Generous portions of numerous offerings were fabulous. We took the 11:30 a.m. tour and considered the tour "lunch." If you're looking for a fun casual outing with opportunity to eat some of the best food in the city- BOOK NOW! This is a must do!

Barri was an informative and enthusiastic guide. She was very knowledgeable about the market and the meatpacking district, and the Highline was amazing. The tastings were great and they made good accomidations for my husbands food allergies, he didn't miss a thing. This was our second tour with the company and intend to do all five tastings offered. I just hope you add more tours or offer other options like food genre tastings.

What a great way to see a different side of NYC - far away from Times Square. You learn a great deal about one of the unique areas of the city and in the process get to sample some amazing foods - breads, meats, cheeses, and croissants and on and on. With any luck you get Cindy as your tour guide - she is very funny, enthusiastic and keeps you very interested.

Don't eat breakfast as the food tour provides ample samplings of food. Great guide, was informative and fun!

We had a very enjoyable time on our tour. We were a family with two 20 something children and even they enjoyed their time. Guide (Bob) was very knowledgeable about even more than the tour. We would recommend this tour to anyone who asks.
