We loved the tour. Our guide Cindy was the best, very funny and informative, she really knew her stuff. We were most surprised at the amount of food we were given to eat, it was not just a sample size. We were excited to know all this existed at the Chelsea markets. The outside tour of the meat packing district was really informative and fun. I liked learning about the transformation the area is in the processing of going through. |

Our tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgable and fun. The setting was interesting, and we all enjoyed listening to the history of the building and general location. The food was good, but not filling and focused mostly on desserts and sweets rather than savory foods. Overall, I enjoyed the ethnic food much better on the original Greenwich Village Foods of New York tour. |

Our Chelsea Market Food Tastings and Tour with Bob was terrific! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and, though we hadn't had any breakfast, felt we could happily wait until dinner to eat again after enjoying all the various tastings. Bob was a wonderful, enthusiastic, caring and informative guide and a nice guy, wanting to see everyone enjoy ourselves. We'd do it again!!! Jan and Gary Helper |

Our guide, Bob, provided us with interesting information about the Chelsea Market, the Meat Packing District, the Highline's new renovation project and the history of this entire area. He did so with enthusiasm and a great depth of knowledge. It was clear to my husband and I that he loves both this area of the city and his job as well. The food samples were not only delicious and varied, but the portions were generous too! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of tasting and touring for 3 hours. We can't think of a more fun way to learn about an area of New York City. We highly recommend this tour. Several yers ago we took the Greenwich Village Tour and loved that as well. We knew we'd come back one day to do this tour. Thank you for a wonderful time, Bob! |

We enjoyed this tour very much. We live about 90 miles north of NYC and never go into the city. We had been on a cruise to Canada out of NYC and decided to spend a night in the city after the cruise and this day turned out to be the best day of the whole vacation. Kurt, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and food in general. And we enjoyed the food "samples" very much. You definetly don't need lunch after. If we had gone to Chelsea Market by ourselves we would never have seen so much or learned so much about the area. We would do another tour like this in the future. |

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in the city! Our tour guide, Kurt, was not only knowledgable about the area... but hilarous! The food was excellent and the information gained about the area was amazing! This is the second tour we have taken with Foods of New York, Inc... and both tours were spectacular! |

Our tour guide, Curt, provided an intertaining tour that included background information, history and food knowledge with a flair and humor. What a delightful young man, he truely made the difference in our tour. The tour itself was an glimpse of wonderful sights, food taste and history. I was not expecting the amount of food we were able to tast and experience. That as certainly a plus! Thank you so much for this experience. |

Kids with us are 17 and 18. They also enjoyed the tour and the tastings. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. Obvious he has a lot of passion for NYC and this tour. This is our second food tour with ya'll. I think we will likely try to do a different one each time we visit. (last visit 2002) It's provides a nice balance to the totally touristy things you do in NYC. |
