It was great - better than expected!

We were so pleasantly surprised! We don't normally like group tours but this was fantastic. The only thing was that the weather was very cold for the last part on the Highline, which I could have done without, but in warmer weather it would have been perfect. I'd tell anyone who's in the area to go!

Our guide was wonderful! He was entertaining, knowledgeable, energetic, and catered the experience to each individual in our group. The food was delicious and we were surprised by the amount of samples offered to us. I have already recommended this experience to multiple friends and family members!

Although the tour information suggests that younger children may not appreciate all aspects of the tour, our 9 year year old son said that this was the best part of our trip to NYC! Our tour guide Bob was fantastic; a wealth of knowledge and he answered any questions we had about the area. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone young or old with or without young children. We will do another tour when we come back again.

Barri led us through the Chelsea Market which is the old Nabisco factory, giving lots of history all the way! We sampled delicious foods from fabulously rich milk to a delicious pasta with oxtail meat and everything in-between. Our family left with an appreciation for the area, the market and its history, and all the wonderful foods which filled us to the brim. Highly recommend this for everyone - lots of walking and standing though so be prepared!

This was an amazing tour! We were in NYC for our daughters 13th birthday and she's a huge "foodie"!!! Loves all kinds of food and loves, loves, loves Food Network! The tour was her gift! She was over the moon!!! We were in NYC for 5 days and did lots of things but this tour was definitely our favorite thing of all! Fabulous tour guide, Curt could not have been more amazing! He was funny, energetic, talkative and full to the rim with information and cool facts about the Meat Packing District as well as NYC as a whole!!! Highly recommend whether you're 9 or 90!!!!

We took the Chelsea Market/ Meatpacking food tour around Christmastime. Our tour guide, Kurt, was fantastic. He not only provided us with delicious tastings from all over the market, including things like lobster bisque, chocolate and prosciutto, but he also was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. He was full of tidbits about all of the fresh ingredients as well as the individual restaurants and local markets. He would also show us pictures on his iPhone of dishes he had made using the different ingredients. Kurt called all of us by name and really made the tour informational as well as fun! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York.

Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and well organized. Her sense of humour made it fun and informative. The food was varied and indicative of the area, and plenty of it!
