Daryl provided more history of the area for us which added to the views we already had from a previous tour. We really enjoyed his fantastic recall for us of the celebrities who have been to the Chelsea Market and loved his view of the Meat Packing district...proves to me that it was a terrific tour for the second time and made me anxious to book the other tours as the tour guides are so much fun with their knowledge of the areas and pride in their roles to educate us. Thanks for the memories!!! Happy Birthday,Daryl!!!!

I did four tours during my recent tour to NYC, and this one was by far the best of all. I did the Central Village/Soho Foods of NY tour, a walking tour of Harlem, and the Sex and the City tour and the Chelsea/Meatpacking District tour was by far our favorite. Bob was a superb guide, we had lots of food tastings, and the tastings were generously sized. A must-do on your trip to NYC. |

My friends and I have been on the Greenich Village tour twice. We wanted to expreience another Food Tour and Chelsea Market sounded interesting. My favorite part of the Food Tour is all the historical facts you learn from your Tour Guide. Bob was our guide and he was very knowledgable and friendly. He spent a lot of time with us. I know it's a "food tour" but the fun facts you learn is something to tell your family when you go home. My favorite food on this tour was the Chocolate Milk. Bob said it would be like drinking soften chocolate ice cream and it really was! The sea food place was my least favorite place, but only because I don't like sea food!! I tell my husband about the tours and he says he'll come on the next one, but never does. His loss! Keep up the good work! My co-workers want to go on one of the tours. I'll have to arange a Tour when I can book all 16 spots for my co-workers and maybe my boss. See you in the spring! |

My husband, son (12yrs) and myself - just LOVED this food tour. It was our first food tour and now we're ready to try another! Our guide was outstanding - she was witty, upbeat and very informative. We loved the lobster bisque soup at the Lobster Place, it was so delicious! This tour is well worth the money, you get great food and great historical facts about the Chelsea Market. Just wish we had a little more time to really "shop" around and get the vendors' opinions or suggestions on which products were the best to give as token gifts.
I highly recommend that everyone should try at least one food tour. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with bob- he was very informative, enthusiastic and personable. He took his time to explain all about the area and was happy to discuss other general queries about new York. He wasn't intrusive or gung ho in his attitude and we would gladly recommend this tour and guide to everyone visiting the city. All the stores we stopped in were a lovely example of their trade- each shop being clean, up to date and serving top quality merchandise. I especially enjoyed the seafood shop and my husband and u returned there after the tour.
Chelsea Market is an unmissable part of any NYC trip and this tour showcased it beautifully. |

This is our second walking tour with this company (previously took the Greenwich Village Tour). This was much better experience. Our tour guide (Bob) was knowledgeable, energetic and provided truly interesting information. Touring the market on Black Friday was a little daunting but we kept moving and the food stops were well placed. Just a few critical comments: Heard a lot about the cost of rents and properties. Okay, interesting the first time. Repeatedly mentioning the costs of real estate got old. Also, the last stop of the tour in the Meat Packing District (Italian restaurant) was great, but, we would have rather stopped at the bakery that offered us cupcakes from the beginning of the tour. Put that stop as the last stop to end on a "sweet note" (no pun intended). One other nit picky issue: In your advertisements advise potential customers that at most of the food stops you are sharing food with the others. Several in our group treated the stops as their personal fill-em-ups with little consideration for the others in the group. Regardless of the boorish conduct of our fellow tourists, all in all: Highly recommend it!!!!! |

Kurt was absolutely amazing - he was very energetic, enthusiastic, and knowledgable. We toured the market, tasting and hearing things we would have never otherwise. Taking a walk on the High Line was very cool. A trip to his friends house was that extra special touch! Thank you Kurt, we will be asking for you on the next tour we go on! |

Kurt, our guide, greeted the 16 guests as if we were family. Addressed everyone within 30 minutes by their first names. He was the highlight of the tour and we have already recommended your company to our relatives in CT.
Se you again next year for tour #4 |
