This was an excellent activity, but the docent, Kurt Upton, made the experience exceptional. He was extremely well informed, funny and accomodating. My 25 yr old daughter thought so too.

Our guide, Darryl, was wonderful! We learned so much about not only the Market but the history of the entire Chelsea area and neighborhood. He was funny, engaging, and answered all questions. And the food! Tastes from so many different places, finishing up with a sit-down at an Italian restaurant?? Huh? Fantastic. We have done food tours in NYC before as well as Boston and this was one of the best.

The food tastings were great, just enough and walking around Chelsea Mkt was great. Our tour guide was very entertaining and gave us the scoop on a lot of things in the area. We loved going to see the inside of Del Posto and Marimoto restaurants when they werent even open. Will definitely do another tour. My teenage kids enjoyed it too!

a lot of fun, great sample of foods enough for lunch, loads of historical information on the Markets, High Line and meat packing district. Very interesting and enjoyable. Dianna was informative and funny - not many women can be comediac well but Dianne did it with style! Thanks for a great experience.

We loved our tour guide Kurt. He was very knowledgable. We also didn't realize how full we would get. I recommend not eating prior. Excellent tour and a wonderful way to experience the Chelsea Market and area!

Fun and Informative

My wife and I had a fantastic time and our guide was full of energy and jokes. The food was great! Would recommend this tour to anyone on the fence. The guide was very personal and made great lengths in talking to us by our names just by meeting our group for the first time. We loved the personal touch at the Italian restaurant and the birthday singing for my wife.

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour and tasting so much so that we plan to do this again with this company. Bob our tour guide was fantastic. I told my husband that this would be the perfect job for me. Interesting, fun and very tasty!
