Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

The food was delicious and the history information was astonishing. Cindy was a great tour guide.

Curt was a great tour guide - just a laugh a minute, plus a walking encyclopedia of NYC knowledge (even if he was making it up, who'd know the difference??!). I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the City - what a fun experience!

We really enjoyed the history provided, the humor of our guide and the varity of food offered. I recommend this to both tourist's as well as local individual's.

As a caterer, this tour provided me with a wealth of knowledge of where to go to get the best ingredients. I can't believe that not ALL current resident vendors participate in the tour. For those that do...BRAVO, I've already visited available websites and can't wait to place my orders. Sarabeth's stood out as the most outstanding and the website does not dissappoint either! I'll be ordering goods from this company to offer in my corporate gift baskets for my clients. Our tour guide was very informative...and shouldn't pay any attention to the "Carrot Top" reference! The only downside of the tour for me would have to be the meatpacking district tour...I just didn't see any relevance. Also, there didn't seem to be enough time to shop at the Market. I think the tour should begin and END in the market...this way participants can enjoy leisurely shopping after the tour. Finally, maybe providing participants with name tags or even "FoodTours" baseball caps to distinguish us from the rest of the crowd would deter passersby from trying to help themselves to our treats. Reserving tables and providing enough seating should also be another consideration. All in all, I can't stop talking about the tour and the delictable samples we were offered. I strongly recommend this tour to all the Foodies at heart out there! Jeanette Warne

the tour guide takes the group to the home of a friend (bed & breakfast), perhaps a advertising detour, if I had known that from the outset I would not have registered and paid for this tour.

The best part of the tour was the guide, Darrell. He was great and provided a fun tour of the area, including many great tastings.

Darryl was a wonderful guide. The tour of Chelsea Market was terrific with great tastings and we enjoyed the tour of the neighborhood. Darryl really went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and give us extra information. We definitely will be back to this area on our next trip to New York. It was a great day that we will remember for a long time.

The tour director (Kirk) was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions. He even took other couple that missed the tour a week ago. My family and I enjoyed the tour very much. I highly recommend this particular tour to others. Mr. Lontoc

I very much enjoyed the food tour. The guide was very fun. The food was wonderful but certainly stop for breakfast before if an early tour. I really enjoyed visiting a brownstone home. I always wondered what they were like inside.

A bountiful variety of delicious foods, a charming guide (the very personable and appealing Kurt!) sharing countless fascinating, fun and funny facts (historical, cultural, architectural, gastronomic, culinary, etc, etc, etc......!), numerous intriguing locations....it all added up to some of the best hours we've spent in New York City or anywhere! A truly great way to get a feel (and a taste!) for a place -- HIGHLY recommended! You will enjoy!
