My husband and I really enjoyed our Food Tour through Chelsea Marketplace. We were very impressed with the portions and presentaion of the food samples. Our tour guide Daryl was very helpful and knowlegable. He was a warm person. Our group was somewhat friendly. My husband has his follow up medical appointment at Sloan Kettering next summer, and we plan on taking the Greenich Village Food Tour if time permits. Great Idea, I'm glad I stumbled upon the tour pamphlet on my last visit to NYC. Terry Peck

We really enjoyed learning about the history of the meat packing area. Our guide was very friendly, confident, and informed. One member of our group had an allergy to wheat, but accomidations were made for her at every stop. The food was very tasty! Even though we were visiting many different shops, I really appreciated that we were not pushed to buy their products. The size of our tour group was small and the portions of the food were much larger than I expected! I would recommend this tour to anyone.

My friend and I have been to New York before so we wanted to do something different. She is a chef, so this was the perfect option. Our tour guide, Cindy, was incredible. She knew so much about EVERYTHING and you can tell she really loves doing this. I learned a lot and had a great time.

Originally from NJ, now an Arizonan, I took the train from NJ into the City with my 2 sisters. Like the Greenwich Village Food tour last year, this one was well planned, informative, instructive, fun and DELICIOUS! Especially loved the soup experience (Great Manhattan Clam Chowder!) and (because I'm a food writer) the Manhattan Fruit Exchange. Great to meet local folks as well as those visiting (as I was). Cindy was absolutely delightful, perky and enthusiastic, leaving no doubt that she loves her job as a FOODSOFNEWYORK tour guide. Although I'm originally an east-coaster, I was fascinated to learn about the Highline, which Cindy presented so thoroughly and interestingly. As a food writer, I was delighted that she willingly posed for photos that should round out my travel article for my local paper, The Daily Courier, and possibly our larger, metropolitan daily, The Arizona Republic. The handouts, which supplemented my notes on Cindy's commentary, will also be helpful to my article. PLEASE, LET US KNOW WHEN YOUR THIRD FOOD TOUR IS IN PLACE & OPEN FOR RESERVATIONS! Fun but too much indoors

The tour was lots of fun and the food we tasted was great. But most of the tour was spent indoors. I would have liked more of it to be outside. The guide (Cindy) was great.

Curt was a great tour guide - just a laugh a minute, plus a walking encyclopedia of NYC knowledge (even if he was making it up, who'd know the difference??!). I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the City - what a fun experience!
