I took my mom to this as a belated Christmas gift. I'm really glad we waited till summer because it was a beautiful day to walk around. The guide, Bob, was very knowledgable and friendly. The food was delicious, and I learned a lot. We are locals, so it was a slighly different experience for us. I knew a lot about the vendors in the market, but didn't know that much about the specifics in the Meatpacking District. My only qualm is that when I made the reservation, whoever took my reservation for the tour didn't ask if I had any dietary restrictions. I don't eat red meat, and there was quite a bit of it on the tour. Not a ton, but I missed a tasting or two because of it. Bob said they could have worked with it if they had been told.

Bob, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable! He provided a wealth of historical information about the area in an enjoyable, fun way. The food was excellent - just absolutely wonderful! There was a great variety in what we sampled and it was filling enough for lunch. The merchants were gracious and welcoming. The tour, though three hours long, was easy to do and seemed to go by very quickly! If you are a Food Network fan, this is the tour for you! This was our first tour with Foods of New York and we would definitely take another. I would highly recommend this tour to family and friends!

This was the second time we took this tour. Our tour guide provided great information about New York. We actually learned and had fun doing it. Last time we had a tour guide who was really funny but we lucked out this time with Diane (I hope I got her name correct). What could be better then a witty, information filled, native New Yorker with red hair. Thanks, we had a great time.I like the changes made to the last part of the tour that included the meat packing district and the final food tasting. We feel this tour is priced appropriately particularly in light of the fact that there are several food tastings and even some coupons.

The tour was great provided you're a foodie. We were hoping to learn more history and less about particular restaurants. Found it odd that we went inside 2 restaurants in which our tourguide gave us a sales pitch for the establishments, yet we didn't sample food from either one. Would've liked to see more of the neighborhood and less of the interior decor of restaurants.

Kurt our tour guide was awesome, very knowledgable of the area, and made the experience a wonderful one. The food was excellent. We're planning another trip later this fall to hit another area food tour.

| I thought nothing could beat the Greenwich Village Tour we took last year; we had an excellent guide and the food and historical references and architectural comments were great. But this year's tour for us was even more amazing thanks to the humor and worldly knowledge of Kurt. (Curt?) He will make a fabulous stand-up comedian someday! We'll be back for our third food tour when we visit our son in NYC again next year! Oh - and the food was delicious and plentiful!

Absolutely loved your walking/eating tour of the Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking district. My ONLY objection was the order in which the tastings occurred. The first thing we tasted was Eleni's everything cookie which I consider to be dessert. Soups, pastas, lunch meats, scones, and chocolate milk were all tasted in random order. I would have preferred that the tour be organized more in the order of a good meal.

What an excellent tour! The guide was great. She was enthusiastic and knowledgable. The three hours flew by! And, there was so much food! We will definitely look to what other tours you offer the next time we are in the city. Thanks!

I have taken 2 other tours. This one was just as good as the other two that I have taken. Great guides, lots of information, and good food to taste!
