This tour of Chelsea Market etc. was terrific. My first tour on July 4 - the original Greenwich Village Tour was amazing and it was interesting to do a slightly different type of tour, sampling our way through the inside market, which considering the 93 temperature outside was most welcome! Curt, the tour guide, was incredible - very impressed with his knowledge and his ability to make us all feel that we had known each other for ages! Such a lot of energy and it is obvious he really enjoys his work. Food was outstanding and I enjoyed an introduction to the High Line. Plan on doing another tour in September. |

My trip to NYC was such a whirlwind I am sad that I don't remember the name of our tour guide. He did an excellent job remembering our names throughout the entire tour. I don't usually like guided tours because the tour guides are cheesy and lame - but ours was fantastic. He was engaging, enthusiastic and as the tour wore on, he made an effort to chat with each of us. I was pleased to find that he was born in the same province that I currently reside in, and that he'd also lived in Vancouver (I was born in Seattle). He was easy to connect with and full of knowledge and passion for Chelsea, and New York in general. Loved him. And the sweet pictures of his pug! |

Tour was fast paced very interesting as guide "Kurt" was knowledgable on many subjects including humorous with the ability to remember tour guests names and to personalize the event. Tour food was plentiful of excellent quality and guide provided information on each serving. Highly recommend for humans over the age of 8, lots of history of the locale including the high line. High energy guide who knows his stuff. Highly recommend and may do again when in N Y. Purchased some of the exquisite breads, still enjoying them and the memories today. Keith and Grace. Thanks Kurt! |

Bob's fun and interesting insights brought the Chelsea Market to life. He knows this area and the vendors involved and that makes an exceptional tour. The food provided was often more than sample sized and the number of vendors involved were more than expected! We've been to Manhattan several times but have never ventured into the Meatpacking District. We've been missing out! Thanks, Bob, for taking such great pride in your job! |

Our tour guide Bob was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He made sure that each member of our large group felt special. The food choices were very good. My favorites were the lobster bisque, the scallop and bacon chowder and the red velvet cupcake. I would have preferred the cupcake at the end of the tour as more of a dessert. I enjoyed the highline too. I look forward to other Foods of New York tours along with my friends who attended the tour with me. |

My 2 friends and I were in New York from Canada to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Among the activities in which we partook during our 4 day stay in Manhattan, this tour was by far our favourite and most reasonably priced. Our guide Diana was immensely interesting and we learned so much about the history of not only the meatpacking district, but New York in general. The food we sampled was delicious and visiting Chelsea Market was an extremely cool experience. We were pleased when the tour extended from the market to visit among other places Highline Park, the famous Morimoto Sushi Restaurant and Macelleria, the wonderful little Italian restaurant where our tour ended. We will highly recommend this to any of our friends visiting New York and we would even consider doing the same tour again with our husbands when we return to New York, hopefully in the not-so-distant future. :) |

How could you not like this fun tour, full of information and full of food. Bob our tour guide was very pleasant, a bit hurried at times. I think the group makes or breaks the tour our group was ok somewhat quiet and did not interact much. My only suggestion would be to reverse the order and start by the outside area and end up in the market. I would have liked to shop more inside and never had the opportunity to return to the market when tour was over. started out with the sweets and ended with the big meal. Overall it was fun and i would be in for other tours. |
