Interesting and good food samples

We were pleasantly surprised with the tour. We had no prior recommendation for the tour. Found article through our local newspaper. Tour guide was very knowledgable, funny was a huge part of a good experience with the tour. Surprised with the food tastings, did not expect the amount of samples received. It was interesting to hear the history behind the Chelsea market.

I went on a culinary tour with another company last fall, but my experience with Foods of NY was exponentially better! The tour combined delicious tastings with interesting local and Chelsea Market specific history --a recipie for a great time!

Very Interesting. Kurt was wonderful and informative. Food was tasty. The Ilalian lunch was perfect. The Meat Packing district has a wonderful history. Thank You Kurt!!

Excellent Overview of NYC Food in Chelsea

Loved all the knowledge and enthusiasm that our tour guide provided, along with great info and knowledge about the area, buildings and foodie things we were all interested in. The food was great and I loved having little tastes at all the stops, along with the inside help with restaurants. Loved it and will recommend to any and all friends coming to NYC.

This was a fabulous tour of Chelsea Market, the Meatpacking District and the high line-with wonderful food, and an interesting history of the area and architecture. Our guide, Diana, is clearly very proud of her native city and the rich culture and story of Mr. Cohen and his market. She was really entertaining and knowledgeable! I have recommended it to everyone I know and look forward to touring the other neighborhoods (others in our large group took the SoHo tour and loved it). Kudos--this is one of the best New York experiences I've had!

We had a great time on the Chelsea Market Tour. Our guide, Bob, was fabulous! Not only were the food samples delicious and filling, but we learned so many fascinating facts about the businesses and history of the Chelsea neighborhood. We all agreed the tour was the highlight of our trip.
