Great way to spend a few hours in NYC

Loved the Chelsea Market tour. Hard to decide how to spend your time and money in NYC with so many things to do but this is certainly well worth it! Daryll was our tour guide and we found him to be very entertaining, knowledgeable and he seemed to be enjoying the tour as much as we were. The samples were generous in size and the number of stops we made was impressive! We've been on other foodie tours and this rates right at the top!! Our thanks to Daryll for a very enjoyable time, in spite of the oppressive heat!!

Since we were in New York during a heat wave, this tour was a welcome relief. The a/ c in the Chelsea Food Market only added to an awesome 3 hour tour. Our guide was amazing holding our interest with stories about days gone by in this meat packing industry. The stores that we visited were perfect giving us an overview of what this market offers. The web site will tell you to come hungry and believe it for sure. We had lots of samples and every one of them was delicious. The tour guide gave us a little time to shop during the tour and of course we went back after it was over.. If I lived in NY I would want to live near this market. The walk on the High Line was an extra treat even though it was very hot. We cooled off going back inside the market. When I visit NY again, I will definitely come back to this market. It's also a great place to buy stuff for friends and family back home.

We lived in Westchester County 13 years ago and now live in Kentucky. We visit NYC every other year. This is the first tour that we have ever taken. We can't wait to visit again and take another tour. Our guide was wonderful - knowledgable, courteous, and very entertaining. This tour was the highlight of our 5-day trip.

This is my second food tour with zerve, my date was the 5th April @11am, and as my first tour the tour leader she was fantastic, the places she told our tour of the Chelsea market her expertise of the meat packing district made the tour a pleasure. I am back in Melbourne Australia & one of my friends is going to New York in September & she & her friend are doing two tours the original that I did a few years ago & this one. I will back again in New York & will be going another. Thank you once again Lois of Melbourne

We really enjoyed this food your. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The cheese tasting was the best tasting in my opinion. We weren't crazy about the cucumber with various salts tasting. The guide said this was added to replace a tasting that included bread , and I agree this is a wise move, but you might want to consider adding additional cheeses or a tasting that involves tasting several types of olives. Or, give a larger tasting of the chocolate milk, which was amazing, along with some type of cookie or pastry. Plan to allot yourself extra time to return to Chelsea Market at the end of the tour to continue to explore.

My husband and I took our mothers on the tour for mothers day. We were expecting a pleasant time but the experience exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, curt, made the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, had great relationships with all the vendors and best of all, has one of the best senses of humor we have ever come across. Our group was laughing the entire time. It was great. All the vendors were excellent and the food was far more than needed. We were stuffed from all the delicious creations although that did not stop us from going back for a shopping spree! I highly recommend this tour and we are already planning the greenwich village tour!

Been on this tour twice before. Having kurt as a guide made you feel like you had a stand up comedian entertaining you while being on the tour. Been on similar tours across the country and Kurt was the best guide I ever had. Not only hysterical but extremely knowledgable. Can't wait to see his stand up routine.

The tour was diversified and the guide was very knowledgable. The serving portions were larger than any other tour I've been on. I would highly recommend this tour.
