This is my second food tour with zerve, my date was the 5th April @11am, and as my first tour the tour leader she was fantastic, the places she told our tour of the Chelsea market her expertise of the meat packing district made the tour a pleasure. I am back in Melbourne Australia & one of my friends is going to New York in September & she & her friend are doing two tours the original that I did a few years ago & this one. I will back again in New York & will be going another. Thank you once again Lois of Melbourne

We really enjoyed this food your. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The cheese tasting was the best tasting in my opinion. We weren't crazy about the cucumber with various salts tasting. The guide said this was added to replace a tasting that included bread , and I agree this is a wise move, but you might want to consider adding additional cheeses or a tasting that involves tasting several types of olives. Or, give a larger tasting of the chocolate milk, which was amazing, along with some type of cookie or pastry. Plan to allot yourself extra time to return to Chelsea Market at the end of the tour to continue to explore.

My husband and I took our mothers on the tour for mothers day. We were expecting a pleasant time but the experience exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, curt, made the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, had great relationships with all the vendors and best of all, has one of the best senses of humor we have ever come across. Our group was laughing the entire time. It was great. All the vendors were excellent and the food was far more than needed. We were stuffed from all the delicious creations although that did not stop us from going back for a shopping spree! I highly recommend this tour and we are already planning the greenwich village tour!

Been on this tour twice before. Having kurt as a guide made you feel like you had a stand up comedian entertaining you while being on the tour. Been on similar tours across the country and Kurt was the best guide I ever had. Not only hysterical but extremely knowledgable. Can't wait to see his stand up routine.

The tour was diversified and the guide was very knowledgable. The serving portions were larger than any other tour I've been on. I would highly recommend this tour.

I would jump at the chance to do this tour again. Our tour guide Kurt is one of the best tour guides I have ever had for any tour. He has so much interesting information to share- from the history of the area, the buildings, the companies, NY in general to the food we were sampling and sharing tips on eating and ordering at restuaurants. He knows his stuff! The food and variety offered was really good- don't eat too soon before doing the tour! Some people didn't turn up for the tour so their share of samples were divided up between the rest of us. Yummy! I loved the quick trip up to the High Line, and if you are lucky enough to have Kurt as your guide you will be pleasantly surprised with the extra effort he goes to to show visitors as much as he can of this interesting area. I most definitely recommend this tour - if you have an interest in sampling international foods or are keen to hear about the interesting history of the district then this tour will fullfil this. Give yourself time after the tour to go back and explore the building again and buy things you probably won't have time to during the tour. You will be given discount coupons for most if not all of the places visited at the beginning of the tour, which is why I suggest you wait until after the tour to shop. We also didn't stop at every single shop and all of the shops in the complex are quite interesting, so go and and check out these too. This is a really good way to experience the markets.

It was well presented by our tour guide. The shops that we visited were excellent and the tastings as well. I would be very happy to recommend this tour to anyone as one of the many places that should be seen.
