| Our group of four, which consisted of a local couple and an out-of-town couple, loved the tour. Our guide, Kurt, was funny, interesting and knowledgable. The tour was extremely well organized. One member of the group is a vegetarian and accomodations were made for her. We highly recommend this tour! |

| Kurt was the bomb! He tells a great tale that you almost believe he knows these people and then you remember that he is a paid host. He deserves a bonus when you go to hand them out. Living 4 hours away from NY I told everyone at work about the tour and the great food! |

| Our tour guide was excellent and we had a very good time. I think the food choices could have been a little better that we had to taste. Over all we would recommend it.

| We had a most enjoyable tour of Chelsea and the Meat Packing district with Kurt. He made a point of learning all of our names at the start and spoke to individuals throughout the tour. The tour itself was amazing. My wife and I were very impressed by the amount of historical background and local knowledge that was passed on. We also noted that Kurt was very efficient in the way that he provided food, explained what it was and then cleaned up while we looked around. We fully intend to take other Food Tours when we return to New York and we will be telling friends to take advantage of the tours as well. |

| I really enjoyed the Chelsea Market Tour and learning about the history and ins and outs of the market. The food was delicious. Our tour guide, Kent, was great, knowledgeable and funny. I didn't need the Meat Packing District Tour, the Chelsea Market part was enough on its own. |

| A few years ago, my sister and I took the Greenich Village Food Tour and were totally wowed by it. Since then, we have both sent friends to take the tour. This one just wan't as good. Our guide had a pleasant personality, but his lines seemed "canned" and his focus seemed to be on passing out the food, not filling in quite so many details. He filled his time telling us to walk around the different stores while he set up the next hand out. He told us several times to come back in five years when the area would be really changed.
We liked the chance to go on the roof top hotel observation deck, but would have enjoyed a few more details about the new or established restaurants in the area and, maybe, a peak into a couple of them. When I got home and read your flyer, I realized there were some mighty fascinating restaurants that he told us nothing about.
The guide, additonally, made no mention of the art gallerys which we had been told were in the Chelsea area. After the tour, we wondered where they are.
The food tastings were good and generous. We especially likee the gelati.
An opportunity to view the studios of the food net work would have been a great addtion to the tour! |
