3 hours FLY by as you work your way through Chelsea Market with a small group and a fun/knowledgeable guide.
Well organized stops with food samples and a chance to learn about the history and other facts about Chelsea Market. Tour continues with a walk on the Highline and the Meat Packing District ending with a "seated" sampling at a local steakhouse. We came away full of good food, great ideas for return trips and lots of interesting information about this historic area. Well worth it!! |

Our guide, Bob Gelder, was extremely knowledgable. Interesting and fun!! My friends and I had a fabulous time. This is the third of your tours I've done...this one may have been the best! I highly recommend your walking food tours. Thanks Bob! |

We enjoyed our tour of the market, but we prefer the tours that are in neighborhoods. Diana had good stories to tell and was very interesting. Much of the tour was indoors (inside the market) and we felt the market could be explored by yourself, but you would miss the story of how the market came to be etc. As always, very professionally done and we had a fun day. |

Curt the non American New Yorker who knew more about I did and I am from the Bronx. He introduced us gave us water and was really interested in us personally. He remembered everyones names and made you feel so welcome. He was spilling over with knowledge of Chelsea Market and the entire Meat Packing area. He knew about foods and could explain in detail about cheese and breads. We would take this tour again if he was the guide. He was funny and used great words like vacation liesure and elevate and nosh and we are going to eat our way through the tour. Funny, Great wonderful tour and I went home and told so many of our friends who want to go toNew York for the tour. Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge with us. We all appreciate it. Thanks Brenda |

A very fun and yummy tour made fabulous by our great guide Curt. He was funny, personable and very thoughtful as he arranged a surprise birthday sweet with sparklers for my 18yo nephew's birthday. Curt told wonderful stories and kept a good pace. We all had a lot of fun.
Thank you. |

Four friends from Virginia wished they had trained for all of the exceptional sampling on this tour. Starting with red velvet miniature cupcakes, sampling nourishing cups of lobster bisque, and ending with more than a sampling of pasta was a challenge to the taste buds as well as the capacity of the stomach. The seafood market tantalized all of the senses, and the chocolate shop begged for more time. A grand finale would be a picnic sampler on the High Line. Don't miss this food tour; weather is no object since almost all of the tour is inside Chelsea Market. |

We had a great time with our very energetic guide Curt. He provided get information (funny too) about the market and area and engaged everyone on our tour. Our 15 year old had a great time too. There was a lot of food on this tour, we didn't even have to eat dinner that night |

The Chelsea Market/Meat Packing Tour was just the best! The Market itself is now a New York icon. What was once a decaying building and unseemly neighborhood, Chelsea Market and the surrounding Meatpacking District is where the action is - foodies, fashion boutiques and designers, restaurants, the High LIne and more. Darrell entertained us with New York history, facts and good stories along with his engaging personality. My advice: Hie thee to a Food of New York; you'll be so glad you did! |

It doesn't matter whether you're in it for the food, culture, or history...it's all great. I can't wait to go on the other 4 tours. |
