Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

We had a great time. As a local, I've been to the Chelsea Market and MPD plenty of times. But never appreciated it as much as I do now, after the tour. Our guide was terrific -- funny, informative, and very New York. My family from Washington loved it. Three hours well spent. I would do it again. I've also been on the Greenwich Village food tour and liked this one just as much if not more.

My husband and I took this tour and it was an awesome experience. We were able to sample different varieties of food that we would never have considered trying on our own. A tour like no other. I definitely recommend this tour to out-of-towners.

This was a fabulous tour of Chelsea Market, the Meatpacking District and the high line-with wonderful food, and an interesting history of the area and architecture. Our guide, Diana, is clearly very proud of her native city and the rich culture and story of Mr. Cohen and his market. She was really entertaining and knowledgeable! I have recommended it to everyone I know and look forward to touring the other neighborhoods (others in our large group took the SoHo tour and loved it). Kudos--this is one of the best New York experiences I've had!

Great way to learn about the area - history and food offerings. Loved seeing the food preparation, the venues of well known chefs, tasting items I had not eaten before.

The Chelsea market / Meatpacking dist tour had really good good tastings and amazing current and historical facts about the area. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to hear despite the windy day. I would definitely recommend a tour by Foods of New York Tours and look forward to taking another one of their food tours myself.

I am a local, but this was a great learning experience for me and my son. Our guide was very knowledgable, entertaining and personable; the food was pretty good, too. It was a good weekend activity for visitors and locals, alike.

The guide was very friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and immediately made us feel at home. He shared so many historical facts about the area that I would have never known! The food was amazing! This tour is a MUST! You will not regret it!

This was a great tour with lots of special bites. Good if the weather is a bummer since 90% is inside.
