we are a family of foodies ages 12-75. We went on the Village tour two years ago and enjoyed it so much that on our return to N.Y. we decided to go on on another tour and we also enjoyed this one.as well. We would highly recommed these tours. Both tours gave the history of the area and fun food tastes.

As former New Yorkers, my wife and I wanted to explore Chelsea Market as a place that didn't exist when we were in NY. We knew of it as seen on Food Network. The idea of a tasting tour was particularly intriguing. We were not disappointed. Bob, our tour guide, led us through the market giving us a wide variety of tastings. Things that we probably would not have tried on our own. Bob had plenty of anecdotes to relate the history and development of the area to keep the group amused. The amount of food available certainly was enough for lunch. We enjoyed the tasting so much, we went back into the market after the tour to buy some goodies to bring back to the hotel and have for dinner.

We loved this tour! It is great for anyone who loves good food and is interested in learning a little history of the region as well. This particular area of the city has quite a storied past, but our guide was excellent at catering to our family with children. He didn't give any sordid details. The food that we sampled was incredible. We enjoyed the variety of options offered.

This is the second food tour I have taken. As with the first, the guides make the tour. Kurt was very informative, had a great sense of humor, and went out of his way to make our tour a great experience. I will be signing up for another tour in the future.

Our tour guide made the whole trip very enjoyable and interesting. The foods were terrific and enough to satisfy us. By the time it was over we were very satisfied and not a bit hungry. A little of everything and most delicious.
