Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

Great food!!! Specially at the Lobters Place!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour. We have been on other tasting walking tours and this one far exceeded any others in which we have participated. The food selections we tasted were diverse, delicious and ample. Our guide, Darrell, was knowledgeable and fun and funny. I woul recommend this activity to locals and tourists to our great city and I will be signing up for other walks with your group.

We went to chelsea market. The food was great and the history awesome! Our tour guide Diana was just great. She was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. She surprised me and substituted one of the food items for me because of a food allergy. We will definitely be taking another tour!

WHAT A GREAT TOUR. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING ON THIS TOUR--WALKING AROUND CHELSEA MARKET, THE HIGH LINE, AND THE MEAT PACKING AREA. AS MANY TIMES AS WE'VE VISITED THE CITY, THIS AREA DID NOT MAKE OUR ITINERARY UNTIL NOW. DIANA WAS AN INFORMATIVE AND ENTHUSIASTIC GUIDE AT EVERY POINT DURING THE 3 1/2+ HOURS. THE FOOD GIVEN TO US WAS AS THE TOUR INFORMATION STATED--ENOUGH FOR LUNCH!! A MUST DURING YOUR STAY IN THE CITY. WE LOOK FORWARD TO GOING ON ANOTHER TOUR....ANOTHER CITY AREA ON OUR NEXT STAY

Since, I had already taken the CM tour, I was a little hesitant . Much to my surprise, I enjoyed it equally as the first time. Diana was my tour guide once again and she was enthusiastic, charming and funny as ever. However, I did miss using Morimoto's bathroom this time.

Tour leader was fantastic. Very able,enthusiastic,funny and very historically competent. We had plenty of food tastings ( which were very tasty) and were informed about the area that we were touring once we got outside. I had never been to the meat district(Chelsea area) and was quite surprised at what a wonderful growing area it is.I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a half day of fun,feasting and friendship.Thank you and the guide for such a wonderful day!

Going through the Chelsea Market was fun and learning the history of the Market was really neat. Our Tour Guide Kurt (Curt) was the best. He made it extremely fun and he knew the market very well. He knew alot about food and he remembered all of our names throughout the hole experience. He really appeared to enjoy his job.

We are NY'ers in NYC for the weekend. Took this tour on a beautiful day in January. Curt, our instructor was very knowledgeable and so much fun. He remembered everyone's name and made us all feel that we were very much involved. Loved the food,,,was stuffed by the time we left and enjoyed the walk on the highline. Would definitely recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike!

This is my second Walking Food Tour of NYC. I recommend them to everyone I know that is going to NYC. The money is well worth it, the guides are exceptional, the history lessons are remarkable and the food is enough to last an entire day. Heck, you can hardly eat a meal for this price in the Big Apple!
