The tour was delightful and we were served more food than expected! Our guide, Cindy, was really fun and knowledgeable. Interesting mix of people in our group, so it was nice to meet tourists from London in addition to the Bronx! |

Our guide Kurt went over and above the call of duty to give us and the rest of our group a wonderful experience. The things we saw and tasted were puctuated by the information and experience that Kurt brought to the tour.
I would definitely not only recomend the tour to anyone who is a "foodie" but I will take the tour again the next time I am in NYC!
A wonderful experience--a highlight of our week! |

What a great food tasting tour this was! Bob was an outstanding guide in every respect. There was a huge variety of tastings at the Chelsea Market and then a tour of key sights in the Meatpacking district culminating in a visit to the top floor bar of a hotel.Do not hesitate to take this tour.It was definitely a highlight of our stay in New York |

We had no idea of the history of this area of New York. We signed up for the tour because we had enjoyed previously taking the Greenwich Village Tasting Tour 2 years ago.
This was equally as interesting and fun - We think the food tasting may have even been more tasty and we though Greenwich Village was wonderful!
Our guide Bob was interesting, knew lots of information, and had a very enjoyable and pleasant sense of humor. Even though it was a warm day, the tour was not strenuous and the amount of time and walking were just about right.
We would recommend this tour to anyone. |

Based on the high recommendations from others, we signed up for this and really enjoyed the tour. I now believe the testimonials and you can trust every word written. Our guide, Bob was exceptionally knowledgeble about the Meatpacking District, it's history and future growth pattern and his passion for great food also came through during his tour. We did not feel rushed and every stop gave us a different perspective both historically and tastes. Our favorites were the Lobster Place (Soups!) and the tasty treats. We will definitely not hesitate to try another tour on our next visit to NYC. On our flight back to California, we watched Rachel Ray feature the MPD on her show and all the places we visited under the expert guidance of Bob. Don't hesitate to book this tour early, they do sell out each weekend. |

A highlight of our recent trip to New York was a tour of the Chelsea Market . We enjoyed hearing about the changes that had taken place in the meatpacking district in recent years and the creation of the Chelsea Market.
The tour was well planned and carried out. The tastings gave us good variety and our guide was very knowledgeable. He gave a great deal of information in a nice, relaxed way. Food, stores, restaurants, history - he covered it all and yet we never felt rushed. We were able to ask questions and we had confidence in his answers.
Other members of the group proved to be pleasant and easy to get along with, making the whole experience one to remember and recommend.
Thank you for a really enjoyable afternoon. |

It was truly the most exciting and different tour in NY in the long time. The guide (Kirk) who was a comedian and a waiter before this job did an amazing job: knowledgable, funny, witty, fast, personal, enthusiastic and intellegent.
The history of Chelsea and the development of the area is quite educational.
The stores and the products in Chelsea Market are of the highest quality and calibre.
We would like to visit the place again along with some of the local restaurants.
Thank you very much for a job well done!

We had a great time. You don't get to see as much of the neighborhood as the Greenwich Village tour, but it's well worth the time and money. Great tastings! We'll be going back to Chelsea Market on our next visit to the Apple. |
