Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

The tour was really fun and wont be to affected if jts cokd or wet as much of the tour us inside the chelsea market. I am a vegetarian and they took good care of me. We were full and had some cook facts to share wiyh friends and family. Also, we have been meaning to walk on the high line and finally did on the tour. My husband enjoyed ut equally to me. Highly recommend this tour.

Loved the tour & the food is great. Our tour guide, Bob, was the best. Very knowledgable, friendly & a lot of fun. My group really enjoyed it. My only recommendation was that our first stop was at Eleni's & we were all given cupcakes as our first sampling. Since we hadn't had lunch or any real food to sample yet, I didn't want to start with a dessert item. A cupcake with icing is also hard to carry around with you in case you wanted to save it for later. Since Eleni does cookies too, I think a better option would be to give each person a wrapped cookie to take with you. This way if you don't want to eat it, you can save it for later on. At all the other stops we got to sample some great food. We were not hungry after as the samples were ample size. I would highly recommend this tour.

Interesting history of area and market - our tour guide was very good - fun to really taste the different foods.

This was our second Food Tour. We really enjoyed it. Our guide was great. He made it very entertaining and informative. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area and knowing more about the artisans in the market and the surrounding neighborhood. Great tour!

Took a tour in the spring in the Village and it was wonderful. Others in that group recommended this tour and it was as great as they said. Both tours provide information about the food, the businesses you are visiting and the history of the area. It is 3 hours well spent.

This tour was fabulous and informative. I loved Kurt and would suggest that he be your guide!!!! The timing was perfect, the tastings great and I had dietary requirements. This was not a problem, and the history was awesome. This guide had a wealth of knowledge, and studied hard for his employment. It takes tremendous recall. It was a big group, and he did individualize everyone. a 10yr old child had a birthday on our tour and he had a special little cake made while we ate in the meatpacking district. He advised all about the restaurants and I loved Chelsea, and the West Village. I raved about this event and glad I was exposed to Kurt, the Chelsea Market and the Food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you again.

Our tour guide was fabulous. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and he put a twist of humor in the tour as well. Our 3 hour tour was so great that it flew by. The taste testing was so good you want to go back and shop and bring everyone you know a taste of Chelsea Market!!!

We have decided to give this as a gift to our daughters and sons in law. It was so much more than we'd thought... even hearing raves from our fiends. We are going to make a point in the spring to do another and then take some European friends again in the summer. What a wonderful day.
