Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

We had a great time. Food was great, stories excellent, and our group was very friendly and interacted well. Our host, Kurt, made the day. Had great stories, knew his subject, and was on excellent terms with the various eateries. We highly recommend this tour.

For a group of about 10 people this is the perfect size to allow real interaction with the tour guide and also to negotiate through the shops. Our guide clearly has a passion for food, which is vital for a tour like this. Needless to say the food was simply delicious, and we both felt quite full at the end of the tour.

This was given as birthday gifts to my husband and I while visiting from Colorado. The food was delicious and plentiful! We had so much fun and spent the afternoon walking around the area after the tour. Can't wait to come back and do another one! Our tour guide made it a special day!

I had a blast on the Chelsea Market Tour. I'd never been to that part of town and found the market and the Meatpacking district fascinating. We were given so much food to sample - it was a great tour. I highly recommend it.

Daryl did a great job of giving us the history of the area (most interesting) and leading us through the marketplace. Food was fabulous!

Four of us went on this tour on Nov. 3; it could not have been better. The tone was set by Curt, our guide; he made certain that he and we knew who everyone on the tour was and from what country they came. His detailed explanations, his selling of the compnay and the places we went, and his energetic personality made everything spactacular. This was the opinion of every member of the group. We laughed, we mingled with each other, we wallowed in the information given by Curt, we came awy with a feeling that things could not have been better. This was my third NY Foods Tour and the food and our knowledgeble guide Bob did not disappoint. The friends we brought loved it as well.

Despite the weather, Darrell showed us a wonderful time at Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District. This is our third tour with Food of NY and we will be back again.
