I have taken 2 other tours. This one was just as good as the other two that I have taken. Great guides, lots of information, and good food to taste! |

This was my second time to do the market. Kurt is absolutely delightful and very, very informative. Every tour leader should be like Kurt! I can't say enough good things about him. You are learning constantly. I had also signed up for the Greenwich Village tour, and Kurt was also the leader. And of course, the tour was fantastic. He is always telling us history, in a fun way, about different establishments, people, housing, and the history of the buildings. It was just a fantastic two tours. I will go on the tours next year. As I also did the Greenwich Village tour, this tour was recommended. Honestly I thought the Greenwich tour was much nicer since everything was outdoors and the Chelsea Mkt was indoor. Unfortunately at the day I was at the Mkt tour, it was pooring rain and indoor was better. Still, it was an interesting tour with a lot of information and good food. I would recommend this tour for sure. |

so exceeded my expectations,!! i recommend this tour to any foodie or person wanting to learn more about chelsea market and meat packing district. (to appreciate this area on your own would be overwhelming and you would probably miss something).. my tour guide, kurt wins the award for best and most interesting tour guide of the big apple!! he knew everyones name, great sense of humor and had so many interesting tidbits, full of knowledge and suggestions. i didnt want the tour to end!! thank you kurt for making that a wonderful day !! also thank you for the yummy food,( i was too full to eat dinner that night! )this was a great way to sample the best of the best. p.s. i also enjoyed my walk back on the "high -line" |

I might have found the Chelsea Market on my own - maybe - but I would not have had such a great experience visiting it. Our tour guide was fabulous - voluble, engaging, a veritable fount of information. The food was the star of the show, but all the history of the market, the "inside" gossip about famous restaurants and food personalities was titillating. I'm a big eater from way back, and I found the amount of food available from the tastings filled me to satisfaction. What's the phrase for "more than recommend" because "recommend" seems too banal for how I feel. My friends are avoiding me because if I talk about this tour one more time they're going to send me back. Hey! Wait a minute! What a great idea ... |

I would highly recommend this food tasting/walking tour. We had a great tour guide who was very knowledgable of the area history and people, the shops, restaurants, etc. Had many interesting, fun anecdotes and stories to share. He helped us get to know each other so we were like new friends touring together. Also made suggestions for enjoying the area after the tour and shared restaurant/entertainment ideas and tips. Visited almost 20 places and sampled their specialties. Lots of variety. Definitely all one would want/need for lunch and then some. A great value and terrific way to see the MP and Chelsea district and even a bit of the west village. Pace was very good. Just the right amount of walking. Chance to sit a bit for those with leg/back problems. Everyone from a young mom with kids, singles, a ladies group, mother & daughter, young and elder couples thoroughly enjoyed experiencing this tour together. Something for everyone. Looking forward to doing one of the Village tours on our next NYC trip! I'll be sure to take my husband along next time. He'll love it! |

We only booked on one food tour because we were worried that if we had to cancel our trip, we would not have backup from Zerve.
We made the trip, and the Chelsea tour was wonderful. We would have booked the rest but they were full.
So, if you know you are definitely coming to NY, book all their tours. You won't regret it. It definitely beats looking at the gazilion Picassos at Moma and the Met.
Our guide Kurt, was charming, did a great job. |

I really enjoyed this tour. We got to see so much in one area and learn about the culture and history. The food...what can say, it was delicious and non-stop. The samping was not skimpy! I can't wait to try another tour. My tour guide was really funny and he made it all that much for fun. The food was great but it wouldn't be a tour without him! |
