Our tour was very enjoyable. This one was the final one that we hadn't done yet.All the others were so much fun and were thoroughly enjoyed so we were anxious to do this one too.
The guide was very knowledgeable & pleasant. We are hoping to do another one when it is added to the list.
I have recommended these tours to many people. |

Awesome, great guide who was very informative and obviously personally interested in Chinese Food, Culture and NY Chinatown. It gave us a very local feel for the area including many non-food sites and history tidbits, as well as great tips for NYC in general. The food was fantastic and authentic (I have had Dim Sum and Peking Duck in China). Highly Recommended. |

Our tour guide, Bert, is the reason my friend and I had so much fun on this tour. He was a wonderful host. There are not as many stops on this particular tour, but there is a lot of food. My 2 favorites were the dim sum and the Peking duck stops. The rice and eggplant were ok, but not the best and the tea stop was just not good at all, but then I don't like sweetened tea and this tea was sweetened. My friend liked the tea stop, so it's just a matter of sweet vs. nonsweet tea. The shopping stop was ok if you're into tea pots, cups and herbs, otherwise it was a waste of time. The cat was nice though. I had fun and did learn a lot of the history of Chinatown which I had never learned before. This was my 5th Foods of New York tour and while it's not the first tour I would recommend to my friends, I'm glad I went on it. |

Our tour guide Bert was wonderful and very informative. The food just wasn't all that good. I don't think it was his fault. There were leftovers after most stops. The dim sum was the best. I felt it went down hill after that. But Bert was truly great!! He gave us a lot of information. Just did not care for the food. We have been on several tours, but this one was not that great with the food. I was hoping for more. |

Great food and cultural experience. The guide, Burt, is incredible in his food and cultural knowledge of Chinatown and gave us a great time. We will recommend this tour to others. We would recommend to add half an hour, cut the Cantonese stop and add a walk through the Mott street market. |

The tour guide was very good. Funny, Witty. tOUR IS VERY CASUAL AND RELAXING, PLANTY OF RESTROOM STOPS, OPPORTUNITIES TO WONDER OFF FOR LITTLE TEA SHOPPING. I WISH WE SAW MORE EXOTIC EATING PLACES. THE RESTAURANTS CHOSEN FOR THIS TOUR, WHILE VERY GOOD AND CLEAN, ARE VERY FAMILIAR FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN NEW YORK OR NEW JERSEY. STILL , GOOD TIMES, ESPECIALLY ON A NICE SUNNY DAY.. |

We loved Bert. He was so obviously a foodie with a social historian's soul. The food was delicious, and Bert was able to answer all our questions both culinary and cultural. The tour was truly one of the highlights of our NYC trip. I'll be doing another one next time I come back.... YOU BETCHA! |

I attended the tour on 4/21 with my husband and another couple. We are all locals just looking something fun to do. Bert, our guide, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, up beat, and patient! I definitely recommend the Chinatown Food and Culture Walking tour, my only regret was that more of our friends didn't join us! Sign up, you won't regret it! |
