Great tour for the afternoon.....
Mon, Jan 18  12:00 PM ccsempliner Female 20-29 Local Group of Friends
Was given these tickets as a holiday gift and brought a friend. As two NY locals who thought we knew Chinatown, this was a great tour - both because of the great food and the general history and information provided on the tour. Definitely full after the tour but loved the food, especially the Dim Sum Go Go to start the tour. Couldn't help but take notes throughout the tour....can't wait to go back and explore Chinatown again now that we're 'experts'....

We loved the tour of Chinatown, especially the duck. We will be going back to some of the places recommended on our next trip to NYC.

This was really one of the highlights of our trip to NYC- a great tour of Chinatown and some fabulous food. We had never had Peking Duck and are now big fans. I would highly recommend this tour to people of any age. Our guide, Rasheem, was super and after the tour gave us some recommendations for where to spend the after noon and where to get a great dinner in Soho. We followed his advice and it was perfect. We'll try another tour on our next visit.

This was one of the best organized tours I have ever taken. Rahim's excitement for the neighborhood shined through in his explanations of the history and culture of the area as well as present day information. The restaurants and in particular the food choices were absolutely amazing. The written information provided during the tour will guide me back to the places we visited and to some of the best bites of food I have ever sampled and also to places and dishes described in such detail by Rahim that I can't wait to return to New York to find these hidden gems. Our entire group was absolutely full of food and knowledge at the end of the tour. Rahim clearly has a passion for food and culture and I would recommend any tour that he leads.

I've eaten in Chinatown numerous times and work a short walk away, but this tour broadened my knowledge 1000 percent. My parents were visiting from England so I bought us all tickets and we all loved it. The dim sum was eye-opening and delicious. The Peking duck was great, though less unusual. The other stops and history were excellent and yummy too. Raheem is a very knowledgeable and likable guide.

While a lifelong New Yorker and Chinese food aficionado, I learned a great deal about the history of Chinatown and added several new restaurants to my list. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the whole experience was outstanding.

This is my fourth Foods of New York tour, and Raheem (our tour guide) is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable member of their team. His facts and figures about Chinatown were wide-ranging, and the foods we tasted with him were outstanding. I'm reasonably sure I wouldn't have found these places myself, and as I travel alone it would have been difficult to try so many different foods. I waddled away from this tour happy. Thanks Raheem and Foods of New York. I'm signing up for the Sushi experience the next time I'm in town.
