| I have been to Chinatown many times and it is not all about pocketbooks! Our group instructor Rahib showed us the different foods, how to eat them and where to go for the best inexpensive foods. He also showed us where to go for gifts and herbal medicine. Rahib was very informative on the history of China/Chinatown and there customs. I loved this cultural tour and highly recommend it. |

| We picked the rainiest week of the year to visit NYC! We had already purchased our tour prior to arriving, so we decided to give it a go, even though the city was drenched. My partner is Chinise from Malaysia, so we were both interested in the foods and culture of the world's largest Chinatown. Firstly, Raheem, our tourguide, althought not Chinese, was most certainly a New Yorker that apparently loves this part of Manhattan. He was full of knowlege of the history of Chinatown, the social struggles of the Chinese immigrants, and pop culture surrouding this area. The food tastings were very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Peking duck. We both agree, however, that it was Raheem and his knowledge that moved this tour from "very good" to "Excellent." |

| As we are from Holland we like to have value for money
And our tour brought more than we expected, everyone of our family was enthousiast, even the youngest( 10)and she did not understand our guide
Amazing fresh was the colour and the taste of the Dimsum we got
I would say the tour and the food was not worth a journey to New York, but when you are there it is worth making a detour (2 star Michelin)

| This was a walking-eating tour. The food was delcious and the tour interesting. We covered a good bit of China town with Raheeb stopping at all of the historical points of interest. There was enough walking between samplings but not so much as to be tired. We will definitely take this tour again and we highly recommend it. |

| I was a little reluctant to use my visa to book this tour, but I am very glad we did. Very informative and I wish we had time for another of the tours. I would have loved the Saturday night Sushi tour as well. Not much walking at all and no uphill climbs to worry about. |

| The 3 hour walking/eating tour of Chinatown was so well-organized and so much fun. We learned a lot about the history of the area and the different establishments along the way, all while sampling delicious foods of many varieties at several stops. Our guide, Raheem, was enthusiastic and informative. You can walk around Chinatown on your own and have fun, but going on this tour makes it much more fun and interesting. I wouldn't have known where to go inside and eat, but Raheem knew the best places. Great tour!!! |

| My husband and I absolutely loved this tour. We're British tourists, and this served as an introduction to NYC's China Town as much as a culimary voyage of discovery. The guide (Rahim) was excellent - very knowledgeable and friendly: he really made the whole experience, dropping in little tips and stories. Not only did we sample some amazing food (including what my husband has dubbed 'The Best Dim Sum on Earth' - and this from a man who's visited China...), but we got to see locals playing Chinese Chess in the park and see a bolt-hole that was used by Chinese gang members back in the day. I would thoroughly recommend the tour - we did it to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday, but we'll definitely be going on one of the company's other foodie tours next time we're in town. |

| I have had the pleasure of touring with Food Tours of NY three times, all of which have far exceeded expectation. It is a small group, only 14 - 16 people.
The guides are vibrant and enthusiastic and it feels like you've got a close friend or relative who's an insider, guiding you around their favorite jaunts. Lots of great information, even maps and summaries, including places that are in the area, but not necessarily on the tour. I've saved all of my 'insider' booklets from these tours and shared them with friends and re-used them on return visits. In my opinion, this is one of the best ways to get to know an area of the City. |
