I really enjoyed the tour! Loved, getting to try all the different foods. My favorite was the Peking duck & dim sum. I had to leave a little early so did not get to try the custard, which was okay as I can not have milk products. Our guide, Bert, did a wonderful job of answering question and giving us the history of the area. I would highly recommend this tour and our wonderful guide Bert!!!!

It was a first time food tour for me and I enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent as well as the tour and the tour guide. I can only but recommend this tour. Should I have the chance to come back to NYC, I will for sure take one of the other tours offered by Foods of New York.

Tour Guide (Bert) excellent (knowledgeable and interesting). Tour price too high considering food served.

We really enjoyed the tour. Raheem was very knowledgable about the area, the history and very descriptive in the food as we ate it so it was a learning experience and not just eating great food. Can't wait until in NYC again to try another tour.

Our group was composed of local New Yorkers and out of town guests. We all thought it was a great tour , and a great eating experience. The three hours went by so fast. It surpassed what we were expecting. Our guide, Bert, made everyone comfortable and presented lots of interesting facts. All of us plan to take another tour with the company.

Our very knowledgable, capable and warm tour leader took us to three sit-down meals (Saturday lunch) that gave us a taste of many varieties of Chinatown restaurants. DimSum GoGo was the best, Peking Duck House was second, only ABC Kitchen was disappointing in its absence of creativity. The small group (~16) all enjoyed the experience and recommend it highly.

good tour but wish there was more variety of food.

I've been on 2 other tours with this company and found both of them to be much better. The guide was fine. The Nice to have 3 restaurants that we were able to come in to and sit to eat ! food was delicious, but it would have been nicer if there had been more food tastings. There was only a dumpling restaurnat (delicious) and a roast duck restaurant (delicious) an eggplant and fried rice stop (delicious) and an tiny ice tea at the end. It was filling, but I'd rather have had a little less at each stop and a few more stops. How about some sample at the Chinese Ice Cream Shop, and an egg roll ? Will go on the LIttle Italy tour next time I am in town and hope that the samplings are more abundant. If this is your first tour, I'd suggest going on the Greenwich Village sampling!
