This tour was recommended by a neighbor who has done lots of NYC food tours. It was definitely the wonderful experience she said it would be. Bert was a terrific guide. He obviously loves the area, the food and his job. We totally enjoyed tooling around Chinatown, learning about the culture and eating the authentic and very tasty dishes served at our various stops. |

We had a fabulous time getting to know the area of Chinatown. Our guide, Bert, was the best!! Dumplings were amazing and Bert's instructions on how they were made and how we should eat them added to his knowledge. Peking Duck to die for. Can't wait to sign up for our next adventure. |

bert the tour guide was very knowledgable and gave us a bunch of interesting facts. Chinese culture and history of the streets was fascinating. The food was very good with the peking duck standing out as the overwhelming favorite. Nobody at our table liked the food at the ABC restaurant though. Definatly the weakest link on the tour and should be dropped. |

Although it was hot outside, our tour guide Bert kept us cool! We were a group of New Yorkers who wanted to get a good feel for some Chinatown restaurants... The ones the tour picked were spot on.... We know the basics of Chinese food, but Bert stepped it up a notch for us and introduced us to some great places to eat with great recommendations for food to order. History of the area as well as some streets that were "hidden" and didn't know about, made us New Yorkers who thought we knew it all, didn't really, and we learned a few things along the way! Highly enjoyable and think it would be worth it for anyone to try! Great job, Bert! Thanks.... |

Bert, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and answered our group's off the wall questions with ease! The stops for tastings were well-planned out and we had a great experience in ChinaTown.
Our group consisted of teens (16+), 45+ and 65+.....EVERYONE had a blast.
We will definitely book another tour in the fall. |

Our guide was Raheem and he was both entertaining and informative. I would go on any tour he was leading. The food was very different from Chinese food I had tasted in the past and much, much better. Even though the weather could have been more cooperative, we all had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I look forward to returning to the restaurants we visited with him. |

Interesting, in-depth tour of Chinatown with great food: 5 different types of dim sum; pekin duck; Cantonese eggplant and fried rice. We were stuffed by the end. Enjoyed the antidotal stories about Chinatown. Liked our tour guide: quirky (which we like) with a nice sense of humor. Two points for improvement. The tour seemed a little rushed (wish we could have slowed down) and the tour guide could have dressed a little less casual (like no flip flops). Otherwise, a great tour. And appreciated the allergy accommodations. |
