Loved everything! Don't let the ticket price hold you back. It is 100% worth it. You leave full ! We went last weekend and are already going back to the restaurants we visited with guests coming in from out of town. Will highly recommend this tour to locals and visitors.

Going to Chinatown had no appeal to me but my friend wanted to try it, so I was willing to join her. So glad I did! What an interesting few hours. We learned history and about the culture along with enjoying some good food that otherwise I wouldn't have sampled on my own. This tour consisted of three sit-down tastings between walks and ended with a sidewalk dessert tasting. A great way to spend a few hours & see another part of the city.

Since this was our first time in New York, we wanted to see Chinatown. I heard the area had many great authentic cuisine, and who doesn't love to eat! Our tour stated at Dim Sum Go Go and sampled some of the dumplings. Yum! Our tour guide gave us some interesting background on how the food originated to what we are enjoying today. Then he took us around Chinatown and pointed out history of the area. The walking tour is at a casual pace, but it does work up a little appetite for your next stop. All in all, I would do this again.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The food was wonderful. The tour host was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was well paced with adequate stops. I selected this tour specifically because of the three sit-down meals. They didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this tour to both tourists and locals. You just don't get this experience by driving through Chinatown on a tour bus!

Bert, our friendly, upbeat, VERY knowledgeable tour guide set the tone for a wonderful food, cultural experience in Chinatown.I could have eaten dumplings all day, but then would have missed my first time eating Peking Duck. Enjoyed learning the process of preparing the dish. More time there rather than the Malaysian restaurant would have been preferred. Dessert delicious. Loved learning about the history of Chinatown. My group of 4 friends agreed we would do this tour again.

We met Bert at the dim sum restaurant. He guided us through the meals and the streets of Chinatown, taking us into places we never would have found (or entered) on our own, and telling us the history of Chinatown. It was obvious that he both knew and loved the area, the people, the culture, and especially the food. We enjoyed delicious dim sum (I went back the next day with friends to eat there again), superbly prepared and presented peking duck, a marvelous Malaysian dish (I lived in Malaysia many years ago and can attest to the authenticity of the food there), and even a delicious dessert (Asian sweets are not generally acceptable to American palates). I liked the filling, but the crust was absolutely to die for. Believe me, you WILL get enough to eat on this tour! We also visited a tea and Chinese medicine store -- we got food for the stomach and food for the soul. Thank you, Bert, for being such an excellent guide!

A pleasantly full tummy, lots of history and behind the scenes visiting tips made this walking tour a great success. City landmarks, local food, shops and movie references. I heartily recommend spending the time and money.
