Chinatown Food and Culture Walking Tour

Raheem did a great job and can't wait to go back to Chinatown and try some of the great places that he talked about.

Not only did we have delicious food but very interesting learning about the culture. Our guide Raheem was superb! I was traveling with my 17 yr. old granddaughter and she enjoyed the day as much as I did. If I would have had more time, I would have booked one of the other tours as well. Highly recommended!

This was our second tour with Foods of New York. The weather was really hot so this particular tour, with its sit-down format, was ideal - it enabled us to escape the sweltering heat and get to chat with other folks in the group. The guide was informal but informative. We learnt a lot about the neighbourhood, its history and the cuisine. Throughout the guide was attentive to the needs of the group. We really liked the sauces & dim sum that started the tour - the one with Chinese chives was our favourite. The food on the rest of the tour was good - and the visits to the tea shops were interesting. We returned to China Town later in the week and explored more of the area. If we come to to NYC again we'd repeat the same tour - thank you!

This is my 3rd tour with this company and each one is better than the last one. The Chinatown Food Tour was a little different as it included 3 sit down courses, in addition to stopping at a few food spots, and of course the walking with all the history of the area. I especially liked the sit down part of the tour because we got to talk with the other people, who came from all over the world, in a comforatble and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

This is my 3rd food tour with your company and EVERY GUIDE has been fantastic! Their expansive knowledge and love of food is wonderfully matched to their background in the history and lore of each area covered in the city. I have returned to many of the restaurants and other establishment featured in each itinerary and have been thankful that I learned of them through you. Please keep expanding your offerings and I am looking forward to my next tour. By the way, Bert seemed like he had led tours for a decade and I was surprised to learn that this was his first "solo!"

Me and my boyfriend were visiting the city for the first time. He is a major foodie and really into food, food facts, and anything different. This tour was wonderful for both of us. Not only was the tour guide great but the whole set up and location of the tour was awesome. The food was great and a very nice was to see China Town. I would never go back to New York and not do a food tour. Highly recommened!

not knowing anything of what was going to happen my 18 yr old daughter and i joined the tour in chinatown. we had only arrived from australia a couple of nights before so were still slightly shell shocked, especially by the heat, as we had just left winter. meeting our guides Raheem and Bert as well as the rest of the tour group was an absolute pleasure and put us totally at ease. the first course at go go dim sum was so fresh and flavoursome we knew we were in for a great 3 hours. we were not disappointed the tour was fun, informative of culture and history as well as scrumptious. we have another foods of ny tour booked for tomorrow and we cant wait, we know it is going to be a great experience. loved Raheem and Bert.

Fabulous tour guides! One was training but you would never know it. Great intro to Chinatown and a peak into the history of the city I never knew. Highly recommend! Honestly, it was one of the highlights from my trip to New York. :)

The tour guide seemed to have some good local knowledge and contacts. The food was great and plentiful. We really enjoyed the experience.
