Raheem was knowledgeable and enthusiastic; and cared for his customers. The food was exquisite! He found the best of the best to show us. Unfortunately he was unable to provide us with a paper guide to what we saw and ate. I would like very much to have one as we live in NY and would definitely return to the restaurants. Could Raheem please email us an attachment with the restaurant names and addresses?

My friends and I returned for the second year in a row to do another food tour of NY. The Chinatown Food tour was absolutely delicious and provided us with a lot of knowledge about the culture and history of that part of Manhattan. We learned a lot about the traditions and styles of the various foods, how they are prepared and how they should be eaten. Our Tour guide was kind and courteous as well as funny and personable in which he made everyone feel included and involved on this tour. One of our favorite things about these tours is that they give us a taste (no pun intended) of a variety of different styles, restaurants, and shops as well as provide us with honest opinions all within walking distance of each other. For those of us who are from out of town, it makes the dining experience less daunting in such a massive city with restaurants galore!! In fact we kept the booklet we received on our tour last year that listed many of the restaurants they suggested and made reservations to eat there on our first night back. We highly recomend these tours!! Oh.....and if you're a finicky eater and are concerned that the Chinatown food tour is too exotic for your taste buds, don't worry! The food isn't so far out there that you question where it is coming from! Your guides will explain in depth all the ingredients and how most of the food is prepared and shows up on your plate! If you don't like....just pass. No matter what, there will be SOMETHING that you will like. However, I'd be shocked if you didn't like EVERYTHING!!

Enjoyed the history of the area, most of the food, and the pointers of Chinese eating etiquette given to us by our friendly and well-informed guide. Got a true flavor of China Town and am hoping to return to this part of the Big Apple when I visit again. Was disaapointed that we did not sample any dumplings which is one of my favorite Chinese dishes (even though that part of the tour was unavailable due to last minute circumstances). Did not enjoy the Peking duck, since it was just too fatty and would have preferred another tasing @ a different restaurant. The garlic pancakes were also too greasy for my palette. The first restaurant visited was excellent and the food superb. I enjoyed this tour and would highly recomment it to anyone who wants to get a good introduction to this historical area of N.Y.C. I also welcomed the printed brochure given to us highlighting the places we visited along the way which I will keep as a reference in my travel files.

Was given these tickets as a holiday gift and brought a friend. As two NY locals who thought we knew Chinatown, this was a great tour - both because of the great food and the general history and information provided on the tour. Definitely full after the tour but loved the food, especially the Dim Sum Go Go to start the tour. Couldn't help but take notes throughout the tour....can't wait to go back and explore Chinatown again now that we're 'experts'....

We selected this tour from the internet - what a find! This was so informative and fun at the same time...and the food was terrific, especially the REAL Peking Duck.

Me and a friend (from England) booked tickets to this event after going on the Greenwich tour last year and completely enjoying that one. And to be honest, we weren't disappointed with this tour. The tour guide (Remon?) had a lot of local knowledge and gave a nice insight into the etiquette and history of China and their food. This tour was particularly good, as there was a lot of places to sit and enjoy the food. The best part, for us, was watching the chef slice the peking duck, and to top it off, the duck was absolutely lovely. There was nothing that we didn't like on the tour. The food was well thought out and presented at the right times in the tour. The guide was clear; concise and knowledgable, and was keen to share his knowledge. I would give this event 5 stars out of 5 and really would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to learn more about an area and learn more about the food.
