We had Raheem as our Chinatown Tour Guide. He is very gifted in what he does and is very enthusiastic and very informed about what he describes on the tour. We saw several restaurants and experienced chinese food that I NEVER would have tried on my own. The Dim Sum, the Peking Duck and the Egg Custard were supurb! We want to do the Greenwich Village tour next. We had done Soho before this. They are just great fun and a great way to visit the city piece by piece and enjoy the different cultures it consists of.

Not only did we have wonderful food, but we learned so much about the specific foods we were eating....learned a little history of the food, culture and area. The examples of some the "etiquette" were, and will be, particularly helpful. Our tour guide was very knowlegeable, easy to hear and listen to. Our food was delayed at the place where we started, but it did not affect the overall experience.

I wnet on this tour with two girlfriends. We had a ball. Raheem was a terrific guide - just the right mix of professional and knowledgeable with fun and personal. He knows loads about Chinatown and its restaurants and kept inserting extra little stories into the mix. He managed to move us along and keep us just about on time without seeming like rushing. All in all it was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. I would thoroughly recommend it an I intend to go on more tours with Raheem.

The choice of sit-down restaurants was better than expected and excellent. Our guide made the tour most interesting with smatterings of history along with explanations of the food of China and Chinatown. The only suggestion would be that he slow done the delivery when there are foreign tourists as part of the group; he spoke very fast! However, I would sign up with him for another tour next time.

As a native New Yorker this was the first food tour I've ever participated in - I will be signing up for all the others that Zerve has to offer!! Raheem was an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable, upbeat and friendly. Definitely show up hungry - the food is fabulous and there is alot of it !! Dim Sum Go Go is my new favorite restaurant :)

I'v told all my friends, local and visitors, to take this tour. It was so informative, fun and delicious. It's great for both those new to the area and those of us who have had many a meal there. The tour guide was very enthusiastic about his job, loved what he was doing, gave great descriptions of how the food was made, told history of the neighborhood, all with a nice leasurly pace. We had the best scallion pancakes I've ever had. We plan to make return visits to the restaurants, their dim sum and duck were delicious. The restaurants were attractive, clean and had attentive service. You are not on your feet for 3 hours, you get to sit at 2 different restaurants and enjoy their cuisine. It's a great way to get to know a part of New York City. We also went on another one of the walking/eating tours and liked it so much we took this one too. Don't miss it.

My friend and I went into the tour only expecting to get food, but we got so much out of it than that! Not only did we have a very wide variety and a good representation of the cuisine but we were "taught" how to eat the foods as well as learn about the food preparation and background on how the foods developed through the times. Every food we received was very high quality (because most of the foods we had before, so we were able to make a good comparison) and in vast quantities so there were more than enough for seconds and thirds if your stomach could handle it. We were also given a mini history tour of Chinatown, which was very interesting to learn about. Overall, it was a LOT of food, lots of information, and a really good time. We definitly recommend this tour, even if you're a native New Yorker!

The only thing I would change - I would start with "walking" and then do the sit down parts as part of a "break" - overall though - I loved it. I thought it was GREAT and the leader had so much knowledge and such a presence - A+++++++++++++++
