Chinatown Food and Culture Walking Tour

This was our 3rd culinary walking tour with Food Tours, and they never disappoint. Chinatown is an exotic and fascinating NY neighborhood with a rich history and outstanding food. You really need inside knowledge to get a true sense of what the neighborhood has to offer. This tour was fun and informative. Not to mention the tastings....AMAZING! Food Tours always finds the best of the best, and in Chinatown there is a lot to chose from. There are probably hundreds of places to get Dim Sum and Peking duck, but I think we were introduced to the best! This tour is NOT TO BE MISSED!

Our group was a mix of native New Yorkers and visiting family. We had an infant with us which was not a problem. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I have always have been hesitant about touring and eating in Chinatown because I did not know where to go. The tour led us to the best places. The food was excellent. Even though it was cold and rainy we enjoyed the walk through the streets being told the history. The group size was comfortable and the guide engaging. I am now more comfortable with Chinatown and look forward to taking the other tours.

OUR LEADER, RAHEEN MADE THE TOUR EDUCATIONAL AND FUN. HE WAS PATIENT AND ANSWERED ALL AND ANY QUESTIONS. A REAL GENTLEMAN AS WELL. WE HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF CHINESE FOODS FROM DIM SUM TO PEKING DUCK AND PLACES TO RE-VISIT. OUR GROUP OF FOUR RETIRED TEACHERS RAVED ABOUT OUR DAY TRIP. WE HAVE DONE OTHER ZERVE TOURS AND WE RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. WE GIVE IT 5 STARS

Our tour exceeded our expectations!!! Our tour guide, Raheem was the best quide I have ever had, the tour was wonderful. We saw things we have never seen. totally enjoyed the foods we had and found the information received interesting, infiormative and delivered in a most entertaining way. My sister has lived in the city for 25 years and she was totally impressed. We look forward to doing another tour the next time I visit.

Wonderful/Great knowlegable guide, he knew so much about food, tastes, history and great places to stop back by....I really want to take Rahiem's next tour...sorry if I misspelled your name...but I love how you did the tour and would recommend anyone take his tour, even thou we were small it was actually better that way. I will be bringing my family back and want the same guide for them....

My wife and I had a fantastic time on our China Town Tour. We had three wonderful dining experiences tasting gourmet Chineese cuisine ranging from Peking Duck, to Dim SUM to a delicious and unique eggplant dish. We had an extremely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful tour guide, Rahim, who enhanced our experience by showing the group NYC's best shops and eateries in China Town. We had a good mix of people on our tour group including a family with children, couples and singles. Some were locals, some were from other areas of the U.S. and some made the trip from other parts of the globe. The group was not too big or small and no one got separated. My wife and I have many fond memories of this day trip and look forward to attending another NYC food tour in the future. Michael and Elena Nussbaum

Had a great time. Was really nice to see the real china town aside from just canal street. Learning the history was very nice as well. Our guide (Raheem) was friendly and included everyone in the activity, even me, being a single participant. Excellent tour that I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed finding a few new restaurants with great food. The company was pleasant and the tour leader excellent.
