My wife and I signed up for the food tour and we are very happy we did. Chinatown is a very cool place but a little tough to get around if you don't know where and what you are doing. There are a lot of restaurants and we hit some of the best ones. The peeking duck was great as were the other places we visited. Make sure you come hungry. Our tour guide was Burt and hit was fabulous! Thanks

Our fourth Foods of New York Tour, and just as enjoyable as all the others. Our guide, Bert, was very informative and fun. You can't go wrong with any of their tours!

Our guide really new his stuff and was so into what he was doing. It was such a great tour. Food was sensational and the information provided about its preparation even better. Couldnt recommend more highly, from the dumplings to the Peking duck and Egg tarts. Just a whole heap of fun.

This is my fifth tour with Foods of NY. I live locally and love exploring the neighborhoods of NYC with this tour company. I gave tickets to this tour to my mother, brother and sister as Christmas gifts so we can enjoy it together. The Chinatown Food and Culture Walking Tour was surprised me to be one of my favorite tours. We had an excellent guide named Rahim who was both smart and funny. The first two restaurants on tour - Dim Sum Go Go and Peking Duck House were first rate! I will definitely return for a visit.

Terrific tour. Excellent restaurants (dim sum and Pekin duck were outstanding), informative on the history of New York's Chinatown and Chinese restaurant etiquette, and also quite entertaining. This is the second time had Raheem as my Foods of New York Tours guide, and he was as well-versed, attentive and funny on this one as he was on the other (in this case, Central Village); major props to him for making sure the diverse tour group of largely out-of-towners had a truly enjoyable time (wet weather be damned).

Have now been on all the walking food tours and like the others this is highly recommended. It's different in that the three stops are all sit-down, i.e. no eating in the street. Therefore the stops were more in depth in information and quantity. The guide (Bert) really knew his stuff both in terms of the food preparation but also the history of the area.
