This was a great tour! The guide was great and food fabulous. If you were ever nervous about Chinatown you never will be again. There is so much history, wonderful people, and great places to eat. Make it a must for your NY trip or even if you live here. This was our third NY food tour and possibly our favorite, although they are all good.

we arrived for the Chinatown food tour the day after Dim Sum Go Go was closed for unexpected, but required renovation. Our guide explained the problem and had made adequate substitutions, which none of us would have even noticed but for the fact that he apologized over and over through out the tour for the delay, substitution etc. etc. Obviously, this situation does not occur very often, but if it comes again, just make a two line explanation and move on. This was our third food tour, and frankly we wouldn't have even noticed the substitution if Rahib had not felt the need to point it out over and over and over. Tons of tasty food, interesting environment, great guide. Thanks!

Fun for less adventurous Chinese diners

Had fun, had a good history lesson (which I really enjoyed) and had some good food. This is not a tour for those looking for exotic Chinese food. The offerings were of excellent quality, but all were things accessible to anyone in a city of any size. Great for finicky eaters!

Our guide, Raheem, was very knowledgable. Wish we'd been on the tour earlier on our trip to NY, as we would have gone back to the restaurants, but unfortunately it was our last day. Our 11-year-old daughter really loved it.

We had a lot of fun on our tour, despite some challenging conditions. The food choices were excellent and we got a good overview of both the history and geography of the area. The weather was windy and cold with a little rain at the beginning but our tour guide handled it all with aplomb and kept the energy level high throughout the three hours. I would definitely recommend the tour to others.

Had a lot of fun, and the food was delicious! Our guide was very likable, both knowledgeable and enthusiastic - obviously loved the subject and cared about food. We had high expectations for the tour and weren't disappointed.

I really enjoyed my tour. The 3 hours flew by and everyone on our tour was stuffed with the delicious tastings by the end. I liked that there was a lot of history woven through the tastings and the little hand-out with a map was a nice bonus. I also liked the tips on Chinese table etiiquette. This tour made me want to try some others

Every eating/walking tour offered is great - the food on the Chinatown tour was amazing. And the 2 sit-downs were different and welcomed! Looking forward to the planned East Village tour .
