We really enjoyed this tour - it starts off with 5 delicious dumplings at Dim Sum GoGo, and follows with *real* Peking duck. These two sit-down tastings were the highlight of the tour! Delicious! While I liked the following tastings, especially the plum iced tea, I'd get rid of the beef jerky (weird, wet, couldn't finish it) ,the Chinese BBQ (too much meat at that point, would rather have had the scallion pancake to mix things up). I'd also go back to the egg custard tarts, rather than the tiger roll (OK, but nothing special). Our tour guide Raheem was a delight! Afterwards, be sure to go by Chinatown Ice Cream Factory for some almond cookie ice cream! :) |

I really enjoyed this tour. It has a nice combo of sitdown and standup
eating experiences. The tour guide is great, too. I think you get your
money's worth just in food. |

We really enjoyed the Chinatown tour. The Leader was entertaining and knowlegable. My 19yr old went into it thinking it would be a "cheesy" experience with a memorized script but really enjoyed the guide and his presentation. His incredible knowledge of the topic and of other NYC sites was impressive. |

In addition to our first time experiencing Peking duck, which was awesome, we also had some great dim sum, barbecue, and jerky! We had always felt kind of intimiated by Chinatown, but now we will feel much more comfortable exploring it on our own. And we know some great places to eat! |

I just returned from the Chinatown walking tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food and learning about other cultures. Our tour guide Rahim was very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about chinese food, history and culture. He made sure everyone was enjoying themselves at every moment. The sit-down experiences were wonderful and the food was delicious and plentiful. Come hungry! Walking around Chinatown and tasting on the streets really gave you much insight into the best locations in the area that you wouldn't otherwise get from wandering around on your own. This tour was truly something to share with friends and family, a fun experience overall! |

we enjoyed the tour very much; our guide, rashid, was a lot of fun and knowledgeable about the area and the food; the food was quite good, my husband
loved the peking duck and was amazed that it would be offered on a tour; although i have been in chinatown many times, i was able to get to see restaurants and shops that are not in the mainstream and i will surely be back |

We enjoyed the walk, although we would have liked more history/culture information on Chinatown. The food was very good! We also thought that for people not daring enough to try Chinese food, this is a very good alternative to sample "safely" and with guidance and then maybe try more for themselves. On the whole, it was quite enjoyable and the guide was very nice and likeable! |

The tour was a great way to see chinatown and to get amazing food we would never have found by ourselves. The guide was excellent and was sharing his knowledge in a personal way. We had a lot of fun and couldn´t eat any more food for the rest of the day. We recommend you all to take this tour, and that you eat a very small breakfast before, if any. |

We went on the Chinatown walking/eating with Raheem. The food was fantastic, and our guide provided us with lots of information about what we were eating as well as an interesting overview of Chinatown. He was obviously well-informed and excited about his topic as well as friendly and pleasant. We had a great time; this is our second tour, and we will definitely do another tour the next time we are in NYC. |

We were enthusiastically greeted by our guide and began our Chinatown adventure with a sit down tasting at a local restaurant. The explanations that went along with our tastings were very informative. There were detailed explanations given on the preparations that went into the food. We walked around Chinatown and had a real feel for the area.
We would highly recommend this tour. This was our first but we look forward to others in the future. |
