Chinatown Food and Culture Walking Tour

This is the third of these walks i have done and every time i have come away knowing something new and full! The chinatown was different as you sit down at restaurants and there is a little less of the culture/architecture - but it is all about the food and that surpassed - especially the peking duck, and the dumplings...

I did the Chinatown tour in January. If you love chinese food or you want to know more about it, you have to book it. I had the best Peking Duck ever. The guide knows a lot about food and cooking in general, is very friendly and can't stop talking about it. Another good thing is that afterwards you know to which places you have to come back for lunch or dinner.

Wonderful/Great knowlegable guide, he knew so much about food, tastes, history and great places to stop back by....I really want to take Rahiem's next tour...sorry if I misspelled your name...but I love how you did the tour and would recommend anyone take his tour, even thou we were small it was actually better that way. I will be bringing my family back and want the same guide for them....

Had a great time. Was really nice to see the real china town aside from just canal street. Learning the history was very nice as well. Our guide (Raheem) was friendly and included everyone in the activity, even me, being a single participant. Excellent tour that I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed finding a few new restaurants with great food. The company was pleasant and the tour leader excellent.

Had a fantastic time on this tour, i had Raheem as my tour guide! This guy is so smart and informative, he knows his stuff!! We had amazing Dim sums at Dim sum go go! Plus the Peking Duck at the Peking Duck Restaurant, was sooo delish!! Great tour!

I believe his name was Shahem? We had a great time - the food was incredible especially the dim sum and the peking duck. Our guide was incredibly smart and informative. I would like to purchase a gift certificate for the Greenich food tour. Would that be possible? We have friends that live there and I wanted to send them this as a gift for letting us stay with them. I really enjoyed my tour. The 3 hours flew by and everyone on our tour was stuffed with the delicious tastings by the end. I liked that there was a lot of history woven through the tastings and the little hand-out with a map was a nice bonus. I also liked the tips on Chinese table etiiquette. This tour made me want to try some others

Every eating/walking tour offered is great - the food on the Chinatown tour was amazing. And the 2 sit-downs were different and welcomed! Looking forward to the planned East Village tour .
