| There were six of us visiting New York for my wife's birthday and we were looking for something different to do. My wife heard about the walking food tours and suggested that it might be a fun thing for our group to try. Well, she was right. Everyone in our group loved it. We did the three hour Central Village/SOHO tour.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job showing us around. We stopped at seven different locations for food tastings. We sampled everthing from soup to main course dishes to deserts. Everything tasted good and everyone in the group felt full by the end of the tour. We also stopped at other interesting and historic places in these neighborhoods.
To keep this very short, I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city. |

| Raheem, the tour guide, was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge of the culinary cuisine and history of SoHo/Village restaurants. Were able to make about 7 stops with a variety of foods and cultures, without being rushed. Best part of all, I was able to purchase a wool hat made in Tibet(very cold that day) while putting down hickory smoked mozzarella and a handful of homemade sausage! |

| We have been on a few Foods of NY tours, and this was by far the best. Our tour guide was a true foodie, but wasn't a food snob...which is hard to come by. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food, the restaurants and the surrounding area. We have already made reservations to return to two of the places on the tour. |

| Although Saturday was extremely cold, the tour was wonderful! Our guide, Susan, was wonderful and the food tastings we tried were delicious and quite filling. |

| We enjoyed the walks around the neighborhood and especially the two sit down places. One of them Montes, we came back for dinner the same night. Even with a tour book there is no way we could have managed on our own. Two of the sit downs we had a room to ourselves. |

| This tour was exciting for both the locals and out-of-towners in our group. Although most of us were familiar with many restaurants in the Central Village we were introduced to 7 new, spectacular places! Three hours is a sufficient amount of time, and the amount of food was perfect.
I will definitely return to the places that we were introduced to...the best part was going inside someplace that looked like an abandoned building and being shocked by an elegant and unique interior! I never would have found some of these places on my own.
I also liked it because I was visiting with college friends (who I only see a few times a year) and we got to participate in a fun activity and talk to each other at the same time. We all learned new things about the neighborhoods, about architecture, and also got to catch up and share some laughs! |

| the walk, the food, the people, all excellent and a great way to see a part of NY that you wouldn't normally get to visit......BUT what really makes the day special is Raheem the tour host and guide, he is brilliant ! He made the whole thing interesting and exciting, full of wit and humour and packed with local knowledge, all my family felt entertained, newly cultured and totally stuffed !! Thanks. |

| Four of us had five days in New York, and we hadn't been for quite a few years. Collectively we love cities, love to know about the areas we are visiting, enjoy personal tours and love to try different foods. This tour was the perfect mix of everything - - the food fun and very appealing, the guide personable, helpful and interesting. We would do this again! |
