We had a basic idea of what the tour would be but it was much more than expected. Susan was a great guide that not only brought us to great food but also told us the history of the area which we did not expect.

All four of us in our group (women between 44-55 years of age) thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was a combination of food and historical tour of Greenwich Village. A great balance of talking, walking and food. The food was fabulous and we we very full afterward. If men go on this tour, they may be surprised at how full they become, too. Our tour guide, Susan, was very knowledgeable and very congenial -- she really made to tour fabulous! Can't say enough good things about this tour.

This tour far exceeded our expectations. It was great to find out about some of the local treasures that don't get a lot of publicity. Susan, our tour guide, was excellent and thoroughly knowledgeable about the history of the area. And there was more than enough food from the tastings, all of it quite delicious. We're planning to do another one of these for a different area of the village.

This is the third food tour I've done with the same company, and I've loved each one. Each guide was a real foodie and was quite engaged and engaging with the group. The spots chosen are fantastic and well worth return visits!

The tasting portion of this tour gave me a great overview of where I'll want to return for a full meal -- or other entertainment. The food was all degrees of excellent. My faves were the smoked mozarella at Joe's Dairy and the unda bhurji pav at Masala Times. The cultural portion of the tour gave me insight into a fascinating neighborhood I've been hearing about all my life but, regretfully until now, had never seen. Our guide Raheem, though, is what made the entire package a real treat. He's knowledgeable and personable--a real character who introduced us to many other neighborhood characters.

| My mom and I visited NYC and I am not about taking the "usual" tours available and was excited to find this option being that I love food and wanted to visit SOHO. This tour with Rahim was so relaxed and he had a great insight being a local for many years. The food choices were great with a variety of cuisine. Rahim has a great relationship with the restaurants selected, the friendliness of the staff we visited was noticeable. We also visited different parts of the neighborhood and learned some of the history plus about some hidden gems of the area.
I cannot wait to visit again and go on other Foods of NY Tours. I am still craving Joe's Dairy mozerella and dried tomatoes! |

Actually, we took this tour two years ago, so we recommend it highly. Tour guide very personable and knowledgeable of the area and restaurants, plenty of great food, excellent variety of stops. We introduced our adult children to this tour, they were very pleased.

My son and his friend and I ate more than we could handle. The tour was informative, interesting and filled with a variety of foods to taste. Walked through Washington Square Park. We were lucky to have a beautiful day. We learned a lot about the area and architecture also. Highly recommend this tour.

The Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour was a definite high-light of our visit to New York City. Our tour guide, Susan, was friendly and provided very interesting information about the history of buildings, culture and people that have made this neighborhood their home over the last hundred years. The food was an excellent sampling of different types of ethnic foods available in the area. I would recommend taking a tour as soon as you get into NYC, and then you would have time to go back to eat at each of the restaurants during the rest of your stay. The next time I am in New York City I will be including another food tour in our itinerary.
