| Cannot rave enough about this tour. If you are planning a tourist visit to NY, take this tour FIRST. You'll then have enough great choices of places to go eat for your entire visit.
This is not just about a food tasting. You can read specifics about that in other reviews.
It is also a very interesting and informative cultural/history tour of the area.
My wife and I are both over 60 years old, we have slowed down a bit in the last 20 years, but the walking was not strenuous, although the day was hot and humid.
Our guide, Raheem, was terrific. (This seems to be the ongoing message in almost every review I read). If all the other guides are as good as he, this is a “cannot miss”.

| I have been on all three of the food tours offered by this group and they have all been different and all good. The guides are friendly and certainly know their stuff. The food is good and you learn about a lot of out of the way places you would probably not discover on your own. |

| the guide was very knowledgeable and gave out really good information. The food was just more than a bite, very substantial helpings, and I think most persons did not have lunch. I also liked the handout with all the names and addresses and bios on some of them. Best handout I have been given in a long long time. |

| Our group consisted of 50+parents and 3 grown children. We, the parents, live out of town and our children are City dwellers. Even they learned new things about their adopted City and loved the recommendations for places to dine and purchase food that they did not know about. We thoroughly and equally enjoyed the cultural/historical and food tasting aspects of the tour. Rahim was the perfect guide and made the 3 hours fly by. We loved the varied and diverse food offerings which were all as fresh as they could possibly be. We'll definitely be back to tour another area. |

| My wife and I enjoyed the 3 hour tour very much. You may even call it an intimate tour in that it emphasized small family owned places that you would never find on your own. That together with the history of the area made it very worthwile. The "tastings" involved more food than expected and we were able to skip both lunch and dinner. I would recommend it to others. |

| We really enjoyed our tour. We have been wanting to do this for the past few years & were not disappointed! The tasting was great but the weather was hot! There is something for everyone, although everyone will not enjoy everything. I personally love that area of New York best & wanted to show my friend so it was a good way to find out more information & history of Soho & Greenwich, as well as experience some very different food. I told a travel agent friend of mine to suggest it to her customers who intend to visit New York. It would have been nice to have time to stop for a drink along the way (at our cost), especially in the summer. Our guide was great! Thanks for a great time. |

| I HAVE DONE THE CHELSA MARKET TOUR WITH CINDY. LOVED IT!! THIS ONE DOES NOT COMPARE..
WE HAD TO WAIT OUTSIDE AT MOST OF THE TASTINGS,THE FOOD WAS JUST O.K.. NO ONE WAS HAPPY WITH IT. THE FOOD IN THE MARKET WAS GREAT.
THE DAY WAS THE HOTEST OF THE YEAR. . NOT GOOD FOR OUTSIDE TASTINGS. WE FELT RUSHED. MAYBE THE GUIDE HAD TO MUCH AREA TO COVER. SHE WAS NOT HAPPY WHEN PEOPLE LAGGED BEHIND..
I AM BRINGING A GROUP IN TO DO THE GREENWICH VILLAGE TOUR, I HOPE IT MEASURES UP TO THE CHELSA MARKET TOUR!! |

| I thought the guide was very knowledgeable and the food choices were very good. This is my second tour and I like that it is small groups. This guide was courteous and certainly good, but not "warm and fuzzy". A little stand-offish. And perhaps that is intended. |
