| Really enjoyed the guide's (Barrie) enthusiasm and knowledge of not only the restaurants and food stores around the area but also of the culture and what it was like in years past. Great tour and tastings! |

| We had a fantastic time on this tour. The food was delicious and interesting. The guide was extremely knowlegeable about the area. I found the historical part of the tour as interesting as the food part (and I loved the food part!) It was a fun way to spend an afternoon and a great way to learn about some eateries to revisit in the future. |

| I loved the information that we were given about the area that we were in and the restaurants that we could return to to eat,d rink and derive entertainment from. The down part of the trip was a lot of standing around instead of walking or finding a spot where we could all sit and listen to the guides. The food was good and they accommodated individuals who were vegans and disliked spicey food. Very considerate. Some of the portions could have been larger or peraps have two small ortions of two different foods at the same location. I wold reccommend this tour to others in the New York area as something to do when they first arrived so that they had options for dinners and entertainment away from Broadway. |

| The tour was a great way to introduce visitors to an area of NYC not listed in the usual tour guides. After doing this tour, we returned to the Central Village region twice during our stay in NYC. For anyone considering this tour, do it early during your stay in NYC because you'll want to return before you leave. We had a fantastic day. Thank you Bari..... and the squirrels! |

| My 80-year old mother and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I had been concerned about whether my mom could do 3 hours of walking and standing, but she was so enthralled with what we saw, heard, tasted and learned that it was not a problem. Also the guides were very accommodating to her -- offering places to sit, and most importantly, speaking very loudly and clearly. The preparation that went into the tour was fantastic -- great background info about the 'hood, about the proprietors, about the ingredients, etc. Food samples were great, and at the end you know what to come back to when you have time, whether you want to listen to music, have a great meal, grab a snack or shop for gifts to take back home. I will definitely do the other tours when I get back to NY. I can't say enough positive about this! |

| My first FoNY tour was the Greenwich Village edition at a time when there was only 1 a week. Since these early days I have done the other tours and this one ranks as one of the best due to a good (sit down) location to start with, a good balance of local history and gossip, a great combination of foods / styles. The weather was also great for November which also helps.
I guess the biggest improvement to the format was the number of venues that were ready and waiting for the party - both with the sample dish but also place settings, cutlery, seats, ability to order drinks (beer / cocktails), etc.
The guide was very good, inclusive and attentive - one of the party had their birthday that day and there was a special treat at the Cuban stop for him.
Strongly recommended. |

| This tour is better than the Central Village Grenwich food tastig tour as there were more sites to see, there were more restaurant sit downs, the tour was longer for the same price.
I really enjoyed both tours. |

| This is my third experience with Foods of New York, and they haven't failed me yet. And I don't believe they ever will.
Instructions to the meeting place were accurate. The guide was on time and easy to identify. The food tastings were varied and interesting. And the guide was knowledgeable and fun ... a personality.
The time flew by, and I enjoyed every facet of the few hours. |

| I loved this tour, had previously been on the original Greenwich village tour, all GREAT food that I will hope to eat every time I return to NYC. The Indian street food awesome start, all the way to the finish at Once Upon A Tart... so full, didn't even have to eat dinner! And such a vibrant and interesting neighborhood, so many things to see and be said for, a great representation of the many and various ways the city changes over time. |
