| My husband and I went on this tour on the last day of a 4 day trip to NYC. We stayed in the East Village and tried to immerse ourselves into the downtown area. I now wish we had taken the food tour on our first day, as this was so informative and fun and we really got to experience an eclectic mix of culture and foods. We actually came back that evening to eat at one of the restaurants that we learned about. I would highly recommend this to anyone, tourist or local. We will definitly go on another one next time we are in New York. Our guide was Raheem and he was fantastic!! |

| Half of the food was amazing, and the other half was average. Although the walk through Washington Park was pretty, I would have preferred to spend more time at eating establishments or food boutiques. If would be great if the company would purchase those disposable ponchos and then sell them on the tour, as we spent half of the tour in the rain. |

| Food samples were excellent! Stories and history of the area added to the experience and the guide was very knowledgable and knew the area intimately. |

| hi,
it was raining on the day I made the tour, but we got long ponchos and so it was really okay.
The tour was interesting, you get to know different shops, restaurants and bars and also where people had been living.
The snacks are delicious and afterwards you do not need to buy anything, because you are full.
I would recommend to eat something for breakfast, because the quantity of food you get is like a normal lunch (european way) |

| I went with two of my friends on this food tour. The guide was energetic and knew a lot about the neighborhood and the food. We stopped at eight great places. The food stops were spread out enough that I didn't get too full so I was able to enjoy everything.
That evening I went back with a friend to one of the restaurants we stopped at and had a delicious meal.
Definitely a great way to learn about the neighborhood and eat at the same time. |

| An amazing tour of the area -- combination of history, culture, architecture and, most important -- great food. Our guide was not only knowledgable about the food and area, he was passionate about it. This is something I would recommend to anyone traveling to NYC. |

| The mix of food, history and gossip is perfect. Whether you know the area or not, it is still a lot of fun. Good quality food, and lots of it, so come hungry, not too much walking with many stops. Our guide was informative, he even shared recipes with us. I shall definitely go back to many of the restaurants and music venues. |

| What a great afternoon excursion into such an interesting part of Manhattan - both historically/culturally and from the food perspective! The delicious and diverse foods tasted coupled with the knowledge and passion of our guide, Barri, made this tour one of the highpoints of our trip. |

| I found the Central Village/Soho Tour informative and very enjoyable. While tasting the samples of food at numerous stops was pleasurable, I enjoyed even more learning the background of the restaurants and their role in the community. Our guide (Ramin--not sure of spelling) did an excellent job of escorting a group of about 15 through the area while minimizing the activity disruption of local residents. The handout guide to the area was also helpful for future restaurant suggestions. I would hightly recommend the tour. |

| We had a terrific time on our tour Friday, April 3rd 2009. Our host was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with. Even though it was raining off and on, our guide still made it a wonderful time. We learned so much and ate so much. Well worth the money and time. It is a great way to see and understand these neighborhoods. Looking forward to our next visit to the City. We will most definitely book another tour.
Thank you,
Chris and Jamie
