| The tour was a great experience. It not only gave you a taste of various NY foods (which were all awesome), but a great history of the area and how it came about. I LOVED IT! If I get back to NY I will definitly do another tour with you. |

| the Tour was well organised. The group had the right size 10 people. Interesting information on the district and the food followed with lots of trying. I w(26) was by far the youngest participant. |

| I loved the experience of learning about the past and present of this part of the city with our terrific guide! This was my second "Food and Culture Tour" and I enjoyed the diversity of my tour mates. Sampling the fares of the area makes the walk even more memorable. |

| the tour leader wsa very friendly and informative, the tour covered a lot of added history about the area that was much appreciated! there wasnt as much tasting as ive had at other tours but the places we ate at were fantastic. the only thing i wish could be added is a handout to go along with the tour sites with some of the information reviewed on the tour, since there is so much good info and not enough memory in my brain to catch it all! I plan to take the chinatown tour in the summer! thank you! |

| Raheem, the tour guide, was very interesting and informative.
The food was really nice. I don't eat pork, so he substituted one of the tasting for me. One stop was a sausage store so no substitution there.. Be aware of that if you have any food restriction..Overall, great experience.
I took the Grinch Village as well, comparing both, I liked the Grinch more, but I think it just my personal taste, cause both were very interesting and tasting! |

| Very good tour. We learned a lot of history of the Central Village and SoHo. We also sampled 7 restaurants and looked at a number of others. The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The one negative was the time of year and the weather that day - cold and snowy, Sat., 1/10. I was very uncomfortably cold and a good deal of the talk was outside and standing still. The guide was not very cognizant of the fact that we were all quite cold and continued to talk at length outside. Maybe that could be avoided in the future. But other than the fact that I should have waited until April to do the tour, it was very worthwhile and a great value. Thanks. |

| The history/facts aspect of the tour was beneficial and interesting. For a foodie, I was rather disappointed with the food diversity. I expected more variety per sitting. |

| The guide was excellent, both his knowledge and his enthusiasm. The tour walked around SoHo/Village to many spots where we learned the history of the neighborhood. This was a walking tour with some food tastings added. I expected it to be a food tour with walking involved. We stopped to hear the guide talk about restaurants, but didn't/couldn't go in. So what's the point of bringing everyone there? It seems promoting restaurants in SoHo/Village was the tour's objective.
If the tour had brought the group to tasting after tasting after tasting that would have been great. It was what I expected. The guide could have discussed some (less) of the neighborhood history inbetween restaurants/cafe stops. Instead, the tour was only accented by tastings. It was primarily a walking tour. If I wanted to join a "walking" tour specifically, I would have. I expected far more tastings than what we had.
I especially didn't appreciate being walked into restaurants where the group didn't have a taste of anything. The guide introduced and promoted many restaurants, but we didn't taste anything from the menu. My recommendation is not to bring a Food Tour group into restaurants if the group isn't going to taste anything. The guide spent half the time recommending that we return to eat at these restaurants while in New York.
Unfortunately, this was a walking tour promoting neighborhood restaurants with tastes of food here and there. It wasn't what I expected. |
