Thank for a great tour. I enjoyed seeing so much variety in the village and Soho. Our tour guide was full of great info about the area. What a treat to see how smoked mozzarella is made and taste some of the best italian food. Can't wait to go back and explore again myself. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes food and a little history.

I have been to Greenwich Village many times and have been on other tours of Greenwich Village as well as other neighborhoods in New York City and other parts of the country. This tour rates as one of the best of all the tours I have been on. It was the best tour of the Central Village. It was fun and educational and I learned a lot. There is only a maximum of 8 people allowed on this tour during the winter months, which makes the tour very intimate. The tour guide, Rahim, was knowledgable and passionate. The cafes, restaurants and shops we visited were interesting and all the food was enjoyable.

I live in Manhattan, but my focus is work. I very seldom take time to explore and indulge in all the fantastic things the city has to offer (A crime! I know!) I welcomed the opportunity to play tourist when my aunt came for a visit. The Central Village/SoHo Food and Culture Tour was absolutely the highlight of the weekend. Our guide was enthusiastic and entertaining. My guest and I both learned a thing or two (or 20) about NY history, architecture, culture, and of course, it's fabulous cuisine. I have a brand new list of favorite places to eat, and several places I'm looking forward to enjoying in greater depth in the future. The tastings were nicely paced, and we finished the tour satiated and inspired.

My friends and I were rather impressed with the tour. The guide was friendly, the group was small, and food and history delicious.

My husband and I decided to take the tour as part of an anniversay weekend in the city. Our tour guide, Diana, was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and we tried lots of good food. We couldn't wait to go back to many of the stores after the tour to buy some of the foods we had tasted. I learned a lot about parts of Greenwich Village and SoHo and loved trying several ethnic foods that I had never had before. The tour was great.

A great way to see the area, try the food, learn some history, including some social history, of a great part of NYC. The tour guide was enthusiastic and energetic.

This tour was recommended to me by my parents who had visited me from out of town. They really enjoyed it, so much so that even though I live locally, I decided to do it with several of my friends. I don't think my tour was as good as theirs was, but we did have a good time on it. The pros of the tour: ate good food and learned new facts about the area. The cons of the tour: it poured rain for half of our tour and our tour guide. The weather can't be helped. But our tour guide did not try to take us by a store with umbrellas until the rain was almost stopped (and it had been raining for an hour and a half at that point). She seemed more intent on getting the tour over with then actually enjoying the tour itself. My parents had spoken of how personable and fun their tour guide was. Ours was not at all, and even was abrupt when we tried to ask questions or make conversation. I understand that the tour is both history and food of the area...but for most of the tour it seemed focused on history and not really on food, and that was more of an after thought. I would've liked to have learned more about the restaurants and had more tasting, then walking around Washington Square Park. But overall we still enjoyed ourselves, despite the rain, and I would recommend it to others who visit.

We have been to both the VIllage tour and the SoHo tour. Both were excellent tours. Aside from all the great tastings we had, the guides are very informative and quite the actors. They made the day verry enjoyable. Had a super day.
