Raheem spoke clearly and gave us lots of information and history of the area. He made sure everyone was taken care of. One of our group is a vegetarian and she was able to experience wonderful and varied cuisine just like everyone else. In fact he took particular care to ensure she was well catered for. He added many interesting tips for eating well at a reasonable price as well as some shopping tips too. We all had a great time. Thank you Raheem.

Awesome Learning Experience

Ive taken many of the ZERVE tours in the past and this was one of my favorites! Our leader knew so much about each location and took the tour at a pace that wasnt too slow and wasnt too fast. I got some great pictures (im into photography) and was able to learn about the history of the SOHO restaurants and sample some of their offerings. I would def recommend this tour. Also, she keeps to the time schedule so that you can stick to plans you may have made, but also sticks around at the end of the tour to answer any questions and offers to take you back to any location you would like to see again. She was VERY concerned that everyone was included, had a sampling, and was enjoying theirself which was a breath of fresh air. Thank you!

This was the first time my husband and I did a food tour. We absolutely loved it and are now looking forward to doing the other tours! Our guide was very informative and had a wonderful personality. We didn't feel like we were on a typical tour, but rather more a part of an intimate gathering.

Through our enthousiasatic guide we really enjoyed all the different snacks and the surroundings of Bleeker Street, McDougal Street and the Washington Park. A day later we went back to the Dante Cafe and enjoyed a very nice cappuccino. Whitout the tour your would never have guessed all the nice places.

It was so nice to see a quieter side of NY. We loved the food and our guide was very enthusiastic. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Lotta Good Info, Food & Fun

Susan, our guide for the Greenwich-SoHo tour, was topnotch, sharing not just information on restaurants & menus, but about the neighborhood, local clubs, the people in the area, architecture, history, how things have evolved over the years. And, ah, the tastings...they were excellent choices and the portions were so generous. Glad we didn't eat lunch beforehand. It's hard to pick out a favorite part of the tour, but we loved the empanadas at Cuba (on Thompson) so much that we went back for lunch the next day and had more of them (also try their serrano ham croquettes - yum). We didn't do as much walking as I'd expected (which was fine, since we'd already put in many miles during the morning), but instead stayed within about a six square block area. There is a fair amount of standing, but also occasional opportunities to sit for a minute, plus bathroom breaks along the way. I would feel very comfortable revisiting the Greenwich area in the future and finding some great places to eat. Thanks, from one Susan to another

Our tour guide, Raheem, was a fountain in information. He knew about not only the food but the history of the area. That was an added delight and very informative. Also, everything we tried was delish!
