Had a great time!!!!!

We all had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide Raheem (sorry if it is spelled wrong) was very knowledgeable of the area, made great recommendations and was very relaxed. He took his time and never rushed us from one venue to the next. All of the tastings we indulged on were fantastic. Each one was unique and not your run of the mill fair. They all left a lasting impression, but I think the two that stand out the most for us were the bolognese and the ricotta cheese cake. We certainly did not walk away hungry. The cultural side of the tour beyond the food was quite interesting. We found it very easy to put ourselves in the past with all of the great writers and musicians of the different times and wonder what it was like. Greenwich village and Soho is such a great area of the city. We can't wait to go back. We have already recommended this tour to our friends. Hopefully they will take our advice. The next time I'm in the city I hope to do the Chelsea and Meatpacking District tour. Hopefully it will be sooner rather that later.

we were a couple of old friends wandering through the lovely streets of Greenwich village (and a little Soho too) noshing on some wonderful dishes from quaint places - well thought out. Very organized and the visits to the shops/restaurants were well timed, considering our larger group (10?). Our guide was terrific. Obviously loves her job, very enthusiastic.

I have to admit that paying for and participating in guided tours was something I liked to avoid. I'd always felt that I could see and investigate more by doing it on MY schedule and My time.BUT...being a "foodie", this tour peaked my interest. What I discovered was sooo much more information was fed (no pun intended) to me that I otherwise would not likely have found out on my own. The whole experience made me want to go back to spend more time in the Soho/Greenwich area in restaurants, comedy cellars, and music clubs. My time being limited didn't allow me to do this but I will look forward to picking up where I left off upon another trip to your fabulous city. Our tour guide was amazing, informative, and efficient. Our three and a half hours with her went far too quickly and we parted having tasted such amazing food that I mentally savour to this day. I have highly recommended to others to book this tour if ever they have the chance. Sadly, I may never enjoy a "Canadian" New York Cheesecake again nor a slice of mozzarella cheese like I did with you but it will give me reason to return to relive the experience, right? Thank you for contributing to making my first visit to New York a trip I will always remember .And next time, I will give more consideration to the "guided tour' option when presented with it in my travels.....bon appetite.....Sally Miles

Susan was a wealth of knowledge. The food was fantastic. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day to walk around the neighbourhood. It was a great day! The food was so good, that we made a point of going back in a couple of days to one of the reataurants. Thank you Susan!

This tour was a great deal of fun! The restaurants and food chosen were delicious! Susan, our tour guide, was full of interesting facts about the area. Would definitely take another tour with Foods of NY.

Third time and always perfect

This is our third tour and we've always had great food, a great guide and lots of laughs, and learned lots of trivia about the area. Can't wait till next year to do Chelsea MY only comment is that every time I've booked., only time shown is the noon time slot. We would prefer to book a later time slot and we see that you add times when the earlier one fills up. Wish we would have known this, as we would have booked the later one. But still a great time.
