This was my second food tour. The first one was the Greenwich Village tour. I liked this one better, but both were really good. I especially enjoyed the history discussion in conjunction with the food explanations. The only negative feedback that I have is that we were told we would be tasting at 7 out of the 10 stops. We actually only tasted at 6.

I really enjoyed the tour. The guide was wonderful and did such a great job. Lots of food and the pace was excellent. I will do another tour when we come back to New York next year. So much great information and history along with great food. It was totally yummy!!!

All the middle-aged teachers from New Jersey who attended the tour were quite impressed with the discovery of so many delightful, reasonably-priced, delicious restaurants in the Village. Susan, our guide filled us in on the history - the counter-culture that began and still continues here, the lovely, quiet hidden streets like Minetta, and the center of the area-Washington Park. It is a tour you can take more than once. Thanks to Susan!

I heard of taking a food walking tour by word of mouth so went on line to find out more. My friend, her daughter and my daughter all enjoyed the food sampled and we enjoyed the historical and architectural information Diana provided along with the information about the shops and food. All in our group wished we had done the tour earlier in our trip so we could have made plans to come back to The Village to shop and eat some more! We will definitely recommend it to any friends planning a trip to NYC!

I wasn't expecting so much information about the history & architecture of the Village. It was very interesting with a tour guide who was full of facts. I'm looking forward to going back & trying some of the restaurants we visited. as I would not know where to start in that area if I'd gone on my own. I've been to NYC many times to visit family there, but this was a fun way to get the inside scoop.

We all had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide Raheem (sorry if it is spelled wrong) was very knowledgeable of the area, made great recommendations and was very relaxed. He took his time and never rushed us from one venue to the next. All of the tastings we indulged on were fantastic. Each one was unique and not your run of the mill fair. They all left a lasting impression, but I think the two that stand out the most for us were the bolognese and the ricotta cheese cake. We certainly did not walk away hungry. The cultural side of the tour beyond the food was quite interesting. We found it very easy to put ourselves in the past with all of the great writers and musicians of the different times and wonder what it was like. Greenwich village and Soho is such a great area of the city. We can't wait to go back. We have already recommended this tour to our friends. Hopefully they will take our advice. The next time I'm in the city I hope to do the Chelsea and Meatpacking District tour. Hopefully it will be sooner rather that later.

we were a couple of old friends wandering through the lovely streets of Greenwich village (and a little Soho too) noshing on some wonderful dishes from quaint places - well thought out. Very organized and the visits to the shops/restaurants were well timed, considering our larger group (10?). Our guide was terrific. Obviously loves her job, very enthusiastic.
