Our guide, Susan, was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The quality of the tour and foor exceeded our expecations, it was well paced and well informed. Next time we are in New York we intend to take another tour in an adjacent district.

This is our third tour, each different and each delightful. We would do this again any time and recommend to everyong. The insight to neighborhoods, history references, wonderful food, and "treasure map" of other places to try are invaluable. Thanks and see you next trip. Donna & Bill from Long Beach, CA

We were part of your E.Village and Soho tour last Saturday. I have not stopped talking about what a great time the 5 of us had. The exuberance of our tour guide-the facts we learned- the food we tasted were all enjoyable. Even the weather cooperated! You can't ask for more for your money-We look forward to trying another one soon!

Food that needs to be experienced

We had only been in the city for a couple of days, we new that New York was known for some fantastic eateries and we wanted to experience them. We checked a number of reviews on the Trip Advisor, Zerve had excellent reviews. After much deliberation we decided on the Central Village / SoHo food tour, it was everything we expected and more. Not only were we informed of great food and get to taste the local produce, we were also informed of the history of the local area. The following day we ventured back to Central Village area and had dinner at the Italian Restaurant on the tour, because the food sampled was so good. This is an amazing food tour and would recommend international and domestic visitors who love food to seriously consider the Central Village / SoHo tour. Thanks for an amazing time. Caroline & Greg

THE NUMBER OF LOCAL NYC RESIDENTS AND RETURNING TOURERS SAYS IT ALL! The tour guide was very friendly, knowledgable, and went to great lengths to ensure that everyone had a good time. The restaurants we visited provided tasty treats, showing a broad brush of "village cuisine". From a traditional Portuguese soup to empanadas and the BEST RICOTTA CHEESECAKE WE HAVE EVER EATEN!!!! (at Bellavitae) to minutes old smoked mozzerella, this tour had a little something for everyone. In the end, we came away plesantly full and armed with a list of restaurants to return to and fully experience. Despite the cold weather, it was a GREAT TIME! Well worth it. Three hours was a perfect way to spend an afternoon--not too long, not too short. Thanks to Susan the tour guide!

My wife and I have been to NYC a number of times and were a little concerned about something so "touristy". But it turned out to be an excellent use of time as well as fun. The food was very good, but the history was even better.

There were six of us visiting New York for my wife's birthday and we were looking for something different to do. My wife heard about the walking food tours and suggested that it might be a fun thing for our group to try. Well, she was right. Everyone in our group loved it. We did the three hour Central Village/SOHO tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job showing us around. We stopped at seven different locations for food tastings. We sampled everthing from soup to main course dishes to deserts. Everything tasted good and everyone in the group felt full by the end of the tour. We also stopped at other interesting and historic places in these neighborhoods. To keep this very short, I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city.
