| I enjoyed this tour with a small group of friends on a weekend trip...I can't think of a better way to spend several hours. The tour was informally informative, flexible with the needs of the group, and quite delicious. I enjoyed the diversity of the restaurants visited, and loved all the food. Came away quite full! Loved the guide too. A perfect day. |

| I was with my granddaughter 19 years old and she enjoyed as much if not more than I did. Our guide was very informative, funny and charming and willing to answer any question posed to him. We learned the history of the area and went back that night to dine at the Italian restaurant that we were introduced to during our tour. We saw areas of the City that we would have otherwise not seen. Wonderful and a must do when visiting New York. |

| My friend and I really enjoyed the tour - we will be back with husbands next time - and a cooler so that we can shop at all the great places on the tour! The foods were outrageous: the yogurt was out of this world, the halvah (my favorite when I was younger) was unbelievable, the gnocchi was absolutely wonderful, the peanut butter sandwich with chicken and pineapple was fantastic, the smoked mozzarella, the black pepper sausage, the potato tart, the indian bread, etc., etc., etc!!! There was not one food that we didn't enjoy! We could not have asked for a better guide either - Raheem really knows his stuff. Very personable - I hope to have him as our guide again next time. |

| We took the Grenwich Village tour in 2004 and would recomend that tour over this tour. It was explained before we left that the tour was altered slightly because it was cold that day. The tour was very enjoyable despite the changes.

| Cannot rave enough about this tour. If you are planning a tourist visit to NY, take this tour FIRST. You'll then have enough great choices of places to go eat for your entire visit.
This is not just about a food tasting. You can read specifics about that in other reviews.
It is also a very interesting and informative cultural/history tour of the area.
My wife and I are both over 60 years old, we have slowed down a bit in the last 20 years, but the walking was not strenuous, although the day was hot and humid.
Our guide, Raheem, was terrific. (This seems to be the ongoing message in almost every review I read). If all the other guides are as good as he, this is a “cannot miss”.

| I can't say enough good things about this tour. Our guide was very personable and very knowledgeable and he shared a lot of the history of the area with us along the way. There was a great variety of different types of food to sample, from Indian, to Cuban, to Italian, to pastries, to cheese and sausage, to (my personal favorite) genuine New York cheesecake. This is a great way to learn some of the history of New York, as well as a great way to discover some additional restaurants that you might want to try on your own in addition to the restaurants on the tour and it's a great way to get to try things that you might never have tried otherwise. Plus, you get to see a lot of interesting sites along the way. I can't wait to go back to New York again next year and take another one of these tours. I highly recommend this! It's well worth the money and the time. |

| Even though it was coldish and drizzling rain, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Raheem was very personable and knowledgeable, sharing history and insights about the area. The food tastings were really good, giving you a diverse sampling of some of the foods available in this area. It was a really good way to see a part of the "real" New York. We look forward to going on the other tours on our next visit to New York. |

| We enjoyed this activity. It was a very informative walk with a great deal of information about the area, its history, architecture, activities - past and present along with visits to many of the area restaurants and sampling the foods (that were all delicious).
The Tour leader was very knowledgeable, personable and helpful.
Thank you. I will be happy to recommend this tour and your organization to visitors in the area. |

| The guide was very knowledgable of the area. As I am a semi-local (from Long Island) I will be back to try a few of the restaurants that we visited. |

| I enjoyed the tour very much. It rained the entire time but our guide and the food was so good that I didn't mind the rain a bit. |
