A group of 11, who appreciated the knowledge and enthusiasm of our tour guide Rahim. The food was great, and we have ideas for future visits. |

I took my three daughters ages 14, 11 and 9 on the Chelsea and the Central Village Tour. We all absolutely loved both of them....not only for the delicious foods we got to taste, but for the history of each location. My girls tried foods they would have never touched otherwise, and I learned of some wonderful new restaurants in areas that in the past I would have walked thru and possibly shopped, but not eaten because wasn't sure if the places were good or not. Now these are two of my favorite areas in NYC to dine!!! Susan was a fantastic guide who truly knew the historical facts of the area, as well as was kind to my children......not all tours are that way! Thank you again and when we come back to NYC will do more of your tours. |

We enjoyed our walk through Greenwich Village with our tour guide Raheem. He was knowledgeable, humorous. organized and friendly. The food samples were delicious and "just enough." We also learned about the interesting history and culture of the area. This tour is a must-do for residents as well as tourists. |

I really enjoyed the food portion of the tour, the smoked mozzarella and sundries tomatoes was out of this world, and learning about the different restaurants was good too. The only complaint I have is that the tour was just too long, and I didn't really care to know about anything other than the foods of NYC. |

This is the 3rd tour I have been on and I just loved it. I took my 15 year old daughter this time and although she sometimes doesn't eat everything, she tasted and chowed down every sample in total. We both had a blast and will come back next year for the Meatpacking tour. Raheem was fantastic! These tours are awesome. They are so much fun. If you are spending time in NYC, I think you should go on this tour the first day so that you know where to eat while you are here. We went on the last day, and I was so disappointed that I have to wait a whole year to return to the great restaurants that we tasted. |

My wife and daughter and I enjoyed the tour and felt it was best out of the three tours we took, in New York. and would go on this tour again, obviously the food is exceptionally good all homemade in family run restaurants, a must try absolutely delicious. And the history and culture are in that area was very interesting, and surprisingly a lot of the area had a very picturesque character to it. We definitely would like to spend some more time down in the Soho area after taking this tour and also went Soho shopping tour which pointed out all the boutiques and shops for clothes and things in the Soho area there is quite a bit left for us to see possibly on our next trip to New York City. I would totally recommend this tour, our guide was great very knowledgeable on everything from the food the restaurant history of the area and the local perspective of things going on. It's a great way to experience one of the jewels of the city's SoHo area. |

My 15-year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed Susan's tour of Central Greenwich Vilage and a small "slice" of Soho Tour. We had taken a food tour of the Lower East Side last summer and had to share very small portions with other members of the group. We were very pleasantly surprised to have very generous size portions of our sample foods on this tour. And, since it was a very warm day, it was nice to sit down in a few of the air conditioned restaurants. I especially liked the cultural and architectural aspects of the tour - Bob Dylan's residences and haunts, Club Wha?, Washington Square Park, etc. I think it would have been interesting to mention some of the Village's famous past and current residents and to include even more mentions of movie locations shot in the Village. The food choices were all very good - a little heavy on the Italian selections - but my daughter loves Italian, so that worked out. We stopped at Peanut Butter and Co. after the tour and thought it would have been a "fun" spot to include. My only complaint would be that at a few of the resturants we felt a bit pressured to return - business cards were passed out -- the stops felt more like advertisements for the establishments rather than simply a food tour stop. We did like the neighborhood guide handout - handy to have for our next visit to the Village and we will be back! Foods of New York Tours - how about a East Village or Lower East Side Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour? |

I spent 5 days in Manhattan, and this tour was definitely my favorite event. I was with my 2 teenaged daughters and my parents who are in their 70's. All of us had a great time, and the food was delicious! Susan, our tour guide, was knowlegable about the neighborhood and a fun leader. We loved Greenwich and Soho so much that we returned 2 days later and ate lunch at one of the tasting spots (Monte's). |

Abosolute must is you're visiting New York. Not only do you learn about the history of the areas, but you get to visit and taste the foods of some amazing restaurants and cafes, which you will visit again and again. Tour guide was so informative and funny. We had loads of fun. Very highly recommended! |
