Our tour guide was terrific. He gave us such an informative guide about the neighborhood, the restaurants, the food they served and what to expect when and if we decided to choose to eat at that establishment.. The portions that we received at each restaurant was more than enough to make a refined review of the food we tasted. The entire tour was outstanding. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I love NYC and love all the food options, but always feel a bit overwhelmed by the variety and number of choices. To help us discover "authentic" restaurants and learn more about the city, we decided to take the Central Village/SoHo tour. Rahim was our amazing tour guide! He was interesting, helpful, extremely enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and appropriately friendly. We enjoyed 8 food tastings that covered a nice range of ethnic foods--Indian "street" food, incredibly fresh smoked mozzarella, homemade pasta, sausage, a chicken and beef Cuban empanada, delicious cheese cake (which I normally dislike), and a pear and chocolate tart. We also learned a lot about neighborhood history, including "celeb" bohemian, folk artists who gave the neighborhood its character as well as comedy and music clubs that are popular today. My husband and I are already trying to agree on which food tour to do next. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!

We have participated in the West Village food tour and loved it, so we decided to do this tour. The food was outstanding, and the serving sizes were generous. We loved the cheesecake and returned the next evening there for dessert. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had many good stories and interesting facts to share in addition to the food. This is a must for anyone who wants a local's perspective on the area and the food.

Our Central Village & SOHO food & culture tour was one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. Our guide, Raheem, was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and charming. He had such great personal stories to tell about his experiences in the neighborhoods we visited. It was obvious that Raheem had a real connection to the area and that he loved his job. And we just loved learning about the Village and SOHO and sampling the food. I have told everyone here at home what a great experience this tour was and have told them that they must take one or more of these tours if they ever visit NYC.

This is a must to do if you are in New York. Lots of "local" information and great food. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, lots of fun. It gives you a good feel for NY community in the 'burbs'.

One of our group was a city native, but found places she had never been. The rest of us don't get into NY very much and loved the variety and stories.

| I was with a group of co-workers with lots of different tastes and personalities in the group. Everyone of us loved the tour! The tour guide was full of interesting information and tips that non New Yorkers need to know. The tastings were varied and delicious and made one want to go back to that particular restaurant. If you are not a native New Yorker you would never even know most of these places exist. After going on this tour I will never go to the large, expensive, touristy places again.
I can't wait to do a different tour!
Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Our guide, Rahim, was very knowledgeable about the central village and SOHO. We enjoyed his observations and recommendations. It was a great way to learn about the history of the village as well as the various comedy and music venues. We would love to také another tour in the near future.
