Heavy on culture, a bit light on food

| We enjoyed the Central Village/SoHo Food tour. It was great to see all the foody hidden spots, especially for someone who goes downtown only for the bars. It was a bid redundant going through the culture of the Village, especially the NYU bashing...we all do it, so move on. But when we did focus on food, the samples were great and a lot of places that could easily be passed by were highlighted.

| The guide was very knowledgable of the area. As I am a semi-local (from Long Island) I will be back to try a few of the restaurants that we visited. |

| My boyfriend and I are always looking for new and interesting places to dine. THis tour was great in pointing out new places with different menu options. The tour guide was very pleasant and upbeat. The food itself was good, although I can't say it was amazing. I wasn't impressed with the locations highlighted in the tour. I feel that maybe, because there was so much more that could have been discussed and too little time, the topics weren't too interesting. There were a lot of places the guide recommended that were not stops in the tasting. They sounded much more enticing and I feel a little cheated that they were not included. I would definitely recommend the tour to an out of town visitor, but as a person familiar to the city, I would say pass. You can find these places with a quick search. |

| I loved this tour! Our tour guide Bari was really knowledgeable and had great control over the group. The food was great. I would definitely go on another tour or recommend it to friends! |

| The Village/SOHO food tour was terrific. Our tour guide, Barri, was very knowledgable and informative. We sampled interesting ethnic foods, while enjoying the sights and history of the Village. The tour gave us a great overview of the area, enticing us for return visits. |

| I would always recommend this company as their tours are outstanding with wonderful tastings and enthusiastic guides. Barrie was a wonderful guide who delivered an excellent tour. I only wish they had more tours of Astoria etc as I have done most of their tours. I have done tours with other companys that were disappointing. I highly recommend this wonderful tour. |

| I took the tour group of Central Village and absolutely loved it!! I can't wait to take the other two. Our tour guide, Raheem, was absolutely wonderful and insightful! He took us to all the mom and pop shops that have been around since the 1800's and spoke of all the best places to visit in the area! And by best, I mean the best! These people know New York inside out. I live in the city and after taking this trip I'm even more enamored than before! I recommend this highly, not just for tourists, but for all New Yorker's who love food, culture and history! |

| I have been on all three food tours and this was the least of my favorite. The food was okay but I still think the Greenwich Village tour is the best.
