We had a teenage girl with us and she loved the cultural association with the musicians and beatnik poets. My daughter and I particularly enjoyed the variety of food and restaurants. Our guide was excellent.

Our walking tour allowed us to taste food items of restaurants that we would not normally have visited. It was fun, informative and enlightening. Diana, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the Village. Diana kept our group together as we walked throughout the various streets. Our group of 4 met the next day at Caffe Del Mare for drinks, proceeded to a wonderful dinner at Monte's, then drinks and dancing at the Blue Note. We had a wonder exposure to the Village neighborhood and would highly recommend the tour. We would have liked the tour to include a visit a "Pub" that would allow liquids as well as "spirits", but the our was about food and exposure to the variety of options in the neighborhood. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the tour.

The informational content was good, interesting and topical. There was not one food item offered that made me want to hurry back to that restaurant/store to further my dining experience. I wish there had been some good lasagna offered, but it was Indian, Israeli, Jamaican, etc...not what I thought I would be in for. I thought/hoped it would be less international fare and more standard choices. It was certainly not an unpleasant experience but with the ground covered and food intake offered, we left looking for something to eat. That was disappointing. Thanks
Rating: 5 Highlight of our NYC trip!!

We recently went on the Central Village/Soho food tour-what a fantastic way to see these wonderful neighborhoods and sample delicious, ethnic foods. Our guide,Rahim (?spelling) was very knowledgeable re;the neighborhoods and the restaurants. He has definately done his homework-what a great guide!!! My nephew is from NYC (lives in the Village)-he was very impressed, and learned quite alot about the many great restaurants in his area. I whole heartedly recommend this tour, and will be booking another one when I come back to NYC next year. My suggestion:come hungry,as you will be fed well. For the price of a so-so deli meal in Midtown, you can take this tour, eat a variety of mouth watering foods, and see some great New York neighborhoods/learn their history. Highly recommend this tour!!!   We really enjoyed the tour and the interesting commentary around Greenwich and SoHo. The food we tasted was delicious and as an added bonus was not the usual food you would order to eat - it certainly broadened the range of foods we tried in New York. Our guide had a considerable knowledge of the area and its history and although some of the claims were a wee bit far fetched it added to the enjoyment of the tour.

Raheem led the group on a very interesting, informative, fun and stomach filling time on this tour of Central Village. It's amazing that there is so much to experience and enjoy in such a small area of Manhattan. In order to see everything the time is brief at many of the establishments but it gives a good excuse to return and explore and purchase newly discovered items on ones own. I only want to add one thing---Monte's cuisine is northern Italian---not southern which is no big deal since both are great.
Rating: 5 Very interesting tour.

Our walking food tour was fantastic! Rahim was a great guide and we learned sooooo much about the village area, it's history and those who live there. I would do it again and again. Wear good walking shoes! Well worth the cost!

My sister and I did the walking tour, great ethnic foods with generous samples. Nicely paced, great guide who was friendly and gave lots of history of the village. O bvious that she loved the area. We went back that evening to one of the restaurants to have dinner and again another day to take photographs and have lunch. We both would highly recommend the tour.
